Part 35 (Gons POV)

Gons POV:

Breathe.. just breathe it's fine, just calm down and breathe.

I thought as I pace around the room. I shake my hands trying to stay calm.

"Gon, stop pacing." Kurapika laughs from across the room. "I can't! I'm so nervous, what is something bad happens? What is he says no? What if-" I get cut off. "Enough, it would be one thing if you said no, but him? He was the one who asked you to marry him. If he didn't want this, he wouldn't have proposed. Now come over here and let me tie your tie." He waves me over.

I nervously make my way over to him, and he sits me down. "There's nothing to be nervous about, it's fine. I promise nothing bad will happen, trust me." He reassures me. "I know that.. but I'm just so scared.. like if you have a test for school, and you know you studied and the questions are really easy, but you are still nervous. It's like the same thing. I know nothing bad is gonna happen, but still.."

"I get what you mean. But I'm sure you'll be much happier then you are now after it's all over. Just think about how happy you'll be after, not what's going to happen." He says, fixing my hair a bit, and tying my tie.

"Oh, and killua got you this." He says handing me a bag. And I open it to see a necklace. Well, a heart locket. I gently pick it up, opening it to see a picture of my and killua in the snow. And I start to tear up, which catches Kurapikas attention. "Hey, you ok?" He asks, worry clearly present in his voice.

I nod reassuring him that I'm fine. "I love it.. I love it so much.." I put it on, tucking it under my shirt. I look back in the bag to see a note.

I pick it up, opening it to read its contents.

Dear Gon,

By the time you are reading this, I'm sure you are nervous, and can't stop pacing.

That part makes me laugh a little

And I'm probably doing the same thing. But we both have no reason to worry, or be scared. And I know that when I see you walk down that aisle all of the nervousness, and the fear will wash away. Just looking at you makes everything somehow better. So I gave you this necklace to remind you that you don't have anything to worry about, and that after today, I'll always be at your side. No matter what. Because I love you so much, don't ever forget. And no matter what happens today, I always will.

And I can't wait to see you again. I've missed you.

I finish reading with a smile. I love you too killua.. I smile even brighter with that thought.

I can't wait to see him again, to kiss him and hug him.

And suddenly I'm so excited, I can't wait to see him. I'm no longer as nervous as I was before. I guess just reading his note, and seeing his picture calmed be down.

"I can see you're much more calm, Gon." Kurapika smiles. "I'm so excited." I state, looking at him. "Nice change in attitude, but you still have to wait. And until then, let's finish getting you ready." He smiles.
