Part 42 (Gons POV)

(They look kinda built 🤭)

Gons POV:

"Oh look who is nervous Nancy now." I tease. "Oh shut up Gon, just be glad you aren't in my situation, again." He rolls his eyes, continuing to pace around the room.

"Come on! We have to finish getting you ready. We don't have all day y'know." I grab his arm, pulling him into a chair so I can finish brushing out his hair. "We're you this nervous?" He cant stop fidgeting. "Yes. And you were there, basically calling me a fool for being so nervous. Look who's a fool now, fool." I laugh.

"Just finish my hair!" He elbows me. "Ok ok fine!" I roll my eyes.

Time skip

"Oo! Look!" He turns his attention towards me, and I run to get a red bag. "This is from Mr. Leorio." I giggle. "Here." I hand it to him

He takes it, and starts to open it. Taking the paper, and gently setting it on the table next to him.

He takes out an envelope, gently opening it as not to rip the note inside.

I watch with a bright smile as he read it. And he also gets a smile on his face.

I wonder what it says..

I think to myself.

Once he finishes the note, he sets it down next to him, and reaches in the bag to pull out a box. He opens it slowly, and from what I can see, there's a note and ear-rings? I can't really tell. But nonetheless he laughs, looking at them with a warm smile.

Without saying anything, he takes the current earnings he has on out, and puts the new ones in.

"What do you think?" He turns to me. "They look great. But why ear-rings?" I question.

"Well you know I kinda have a thing for ear-rings, and he knows I have a lot of them. And these were really expensive, so I couldn't buy them. So he did." He smiles.

"Well I can see why you like them! They looks really pretty."

Before he can say anything else, we both hear the door open, and Killua sticks his head on. "Leorio just walked out! Be out in ten minutes." He says with a smile, and winks at me. I look away with a slight blush on my face.

"Ok, let me go get your jacket." I smile, and he sits down with a nod.
