𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗦𝗮𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗿

Part 10 (Killuas POV)

Killuas POV:

It's been about 1 month, and 3 weeks since Gons been in the hospital. His wounds are getting much better, today he's getting his casts off. The doctors say all his bones are completely healed, he just has to wear braces for about 1 week until he can completely be out of the hospital and start his therapy. And I can tell he isn't so excited about that part. And his eating had been amazing. He can eat more solid foods now, like pizza and cheese burgers. But he loves salads. Which is a first, I never thought he would love salads, he's always loved pizza, and burgers, and spaghetti. But people change. And the last few weeks for us have been a roller coaster.

I walk in and greet Mrs. Sato, the receptionist. I check in and then walk up to Gons room. I greet the doctors as I walk by and eventually I make it to his room. I open the door, his eyes light up "Killua!" He says happily. "Hi Angel, how are you today?" I ask with warmth in my eyes. I've always had a soft spot when it comes to Gon.. he changed me. I sit down next to him and kiss his forehead. "Didn't I tell you not to call me Angel?" He asks pouting. "Eh, I like it. And I like you, so I'll call you Angel. It's either that or Baby?" I ask chuckling. His face turns completely red and I smirk.

"Gon~ your Face Is all red." I say, "N-no it's not.." he mumbles. "Are you excited for today? You finally get your casts off!" I say happily. "Yes! I'm so happy I just wanna get out of here.. but I don't wanna do therapy.." he says the last part a little sad. "It's ok, remember I'll be with you the whole time, I swear. And if I break my promise I'll have to swallow 1,000 needles!" I say chuckling as I bring us back to our teenage years when Gon broke his promise to Palm. He laughs, "you don't have to do that, you can just go on a date with me." He winks at me, and my face turns a little pink. "You know I followed you right?" I ask. He looks at me confused. "No.. you did?" I laugh a little "Yeah, and that's when I found out Illumi put a needle in my head, that's why I used to be such a scaredy-cat and wanted to run away like a baby all the time." I say a little embarrassed by my past self.

"I still really liked you.. and admired you a lot, you just stole my heart the minute you asked me my age, and did that hella cool trick on your dumb skate board." He says with a slight warn out laugh. "And you stole my heart the minute you told me your name, and we passed the examiner with that dumb race I won." I say with a smirk. "Excuse me mister, I won that race, and you never bought ME dinner." He says with his tongue stuck out.

"Well right when you get out, I will take you to the finest restaurant in York New." I say with a wink and a smirk. "Y-you don't have too.." he says with a embarrassed laugh, and his face red "Well I'm going to anyways." I say crossing my arms.

Our attention is on the door, as we hear it open. "Ah, Killua I see your doing great today." He says to me "As to you Dr. Suzuki." I say with a smile. "Good morning Dr. Suzuki!" Gon says happily. "Good morning Gon! You're happier than usual, excited to get your casts off?" He asks. And Gon nods. "Great, than let's get started shall we?" He calls in another doctor, and they come in with a cast saw (idk what it's called 😂 only broken my arm once-) Gon look at it a little nervous, "it's ok Gon, it's used to cut off the casts." I say softly. He nods at me, "Boys, this is Dr. Abe, she is going to be cutting of your casts for you today Gon." She doctor says introducing Dr. Abe. "H-hello, nice to m-meet you.." Gon says nervous. "Nice to meet you as well Gon, and you are?" She asks turning her attention to me. "Oh- I'm Killua, Killua Zoldyck." I reply. "Well nice to meet you too Killua!" She says with a closed eyes smile. I smile lightly back.

"Don't worry, she knows what she's doing so she won't hurt you ok?" The doctor asks. "Ok.." Gon replies. Dr.Abe pulls up the chair and sits down. "Which one we doing first Dr. Suzuki?" She asks. "Let's start with his arms first." He replies. she nods, "Which hand first Gon?" She asks. "Oh.. uh my left." He says pulling out his left hand. "Ok! Great, just sit still." She says

Time skip to after all the casts are removed

"See? That wasn't that hard was it?" She asks giggling. "Nope, I just felt weird getting to move my arms and legs again. He looks at the black braces on his limbs. And he has a neck brace on. "Thank you so much Dr. Abe." Gon says with a smile. "Well it's my job." She says with a laugh, she leaves and Dr. Suzuki walks in with some food. "Ya hungry? Cause I got some Salad." He says with a hum. Gons eyes light up "Salad!" He says with a giggle. He sets the bowl down, and tells us that that's all we have planned for today, so we have the rest of the time here off until he gets out. We already made sure all his medical bills were paid for:

Flashback

"So the deadline for the bill is next week, it's 5,000,000 yen" The doctor says. Gons eyes immediately look as if he's about to cry. I hate when he's like that.. "I'll pay." I say. Gon looks up at me with a confused look on his face. "No, you aren't paying for this Killua! That's way to much!" He says with distress written all over his face. I ignore him and get out my check book, I write the check and hand it to him, "You accept checks?" I ask. "Of course sir. Thank you so much" he bows and leaves the room.

I turn to look at Gon, and he's on the verge of tears, "W-why d-did you.." he stops himself. I sigh and walk over next to him, "Because I care for you Gon, and I know you would have done everything in your power to pay it back if I was in your shoes. I care for you, I love you so much Gon..." I say sweetly

His face turns a little red, "I-I.. I love you too Killua.." he replies back.I smile at him, and kiss his forehead. I pull up and he's giving me a light smile back.

End of flashback

So we could just sign out, and the hospital has already found him a therapist, so we can head there next.. we are a step closer to Gon getting better.. I'm so excited!
