O.M.G.
I am so so so sorry for the wait.
I have been doing nothing but writing essays for English. I pretty much wrote this entire chapter in one sitting because I finally got the time to do it.
Thank you all for being so patient. It means the world to me.
I hope you enjoy this chapter! Let me know through a comment and/or vote!

A shiver raced up my spine, and a deep sigh escaped my lips as I felt a cool hand running up my bare side. Without looking, I grabbed the hand snaking up my body and pulled it tighter around me. The body behind me, despite just waking up, was quick to pull me closer. Though the skin against mine was cool, a warm feeling still overtook my body, and I let out another sigh.

"Good morning, dove," a voice still husky with sleep said from behind me. I only cuddled closer to his arm, content with going back to sleep. "I know you're awake, my love," he teased, his voice gentle. I grumbled and reached blindly for the blanket to pull it over my head, wanting to go back to sleep. I giggled when his cool hand came up to trace patterns in my skin. Goosebumps rose on my skin, and I tried to squirm away from the offending touch. In response, he pulled me closer and dug his fingers into my side, causing me to shriek.

When he was finally finished with his torment, I found myself lying on my back, looking up at the man above me. To my delight, his skin was still that beautiful blue color, covered in runes, and his eyes still shone like rubies. He was smiling down at me, just looking.

"What?" I asked softly when I felt my face heat up in a hot blush. One of his cold hands came up to cup my cheek and yet another shover raced down my spine.

"Nothing," he whispered as he ran a thumb over my cheek. "Just wondering why, after everything, the Norns have chosen to bless me in such a wonderful way," he admitted. My blush deepened as I reached up with both hands to cup his face with my own hands, pulling his lips down onto mine. This kiss was nothing like the many kisses we had shared the night before. Instead, it was soft and sweet, telling of love, telling of admiration, telling of everything I admired about him.

After he pulled away, he continued to stare at me, his eyes searching my face. "I love you, my darling," he said, pecking my lips with his. "So much. You are my queen. My love. My light. My everything good," he said, pressing a kiss to my face, my lips, and my neck in between statements. I smiled as I gazed up at him, unable to formulate the correct words.

"I love you, too, my king," I said, reaching up to give his cheek the same treatment. He smiled and laid back down beside me, pulling me close. I snuggled up against his chest, my face hidden in the crook of his neck. For a while, we just laid together, basking in the warmth of each other. His chest rose and fell against my own as he ran his hands through my hair, occasionally twirling it around his fingers. I could have laid there forever. But, as always, good things must come to an end.

Another hot blush made its way to my face when I heard my stomach rumble. I was hoping Loki wouldn't hear, but, as always, he did. "Are you ready for breakfast?" he asked as he continued playing with my hair. He glanced over at the terrace doors, and I followed his gaze to find that the sun was already far above its morning position. "Or maybe lunch by the looks of it," he said through a chuckle. I nodded but buried my face back into his chest anyway. Yes, I was hungry, but I was also tired.

"(Y/N), my love," Loki said, running the tips of his fingers down my back. "You can't stay in bed forever," he chided.

"Yes I can," I argued, squeezing him tight. "Watch me," he chuckled again, but I couldn't ignore it when my stomach rumbled again. I groaned and shook my head, a little embarrassed.

"Why don't I run you a bath, and I'll have something to eat ready for you when you come up," the prince of Asgard offered. "How does that sound, my love?" he asked. I nodded but didn't get up. "(N/N), you're going to have to let me go," he said as he laughed. I groaned but finally let him go, immediately missing the feeling of his arms around me.
