"I can't believe we're getting married in three days," Dalton smiled as we sat down on our seats in the plane.
"Me too," I smiled as I placed my head on his shoulder. We're on our way to Florida to officially become Mr. and Mrs. Gomez. We sent out the invitations last month around Christmas, and we have never felt so excited. We even handpicked five fans from all around the world, and two of them were Lindsay and Delilah as we promised them. Last month, we got to spend Christmas together for the first time as a couple and at the same time as a family. It was also Imogen's first Christmas, so it was just really special.
It's the end of January, and Imogen was now two months old. The media was trying to get pictures of her, and it's getting out of hand. We wanted to keep her life private, away from all the media's dramas. Thankfully, no one managed to get any pictures of her. She started growing hair and it's dark brown, just like mine and Dalton's. I looked at her and softly stroked her cheek. She's so beautiful.
"She's so beautiful, isn't she?" I asked Dalton.
"Of course, her mom is the most beautiful woman in the world," he smiled.
"And her dad is the most handsome man in this universe," I smiled. He then placed a kiss on my cheek and on Imogen's forehead. "Daddy loves you, little one."
"I miss your bump," he pouted.
"Is it weird that I kinda miss it too?" I chuckled.
"Well, now we have our little girl," he smiled as he gently stroked Imogen's cheek. She started making some noise, meaning she's hungry, so I started feeding her.
"She's always excited for your boobs," Dalton smirked.
"I mean, that's like her only source of food for the next few months," I playfully rolled my eyes at him.
"Okay Mommy, whatever you say," he chuckled. Imogen stopped sucking on my nipple and I burped her. After a few minutes, she fell asleep on my chest. That's how she fell asleep most of the time, and it's just adorable.
"Want me to hold her so that you can have some sleep?" Dalton offered, probably noticing how tired I looked.
"Maybe in a few minutes," I replied. After a few minutes, I started to feel sleepy. I made sure Imogen was sound asleep and I carefully passed her over to Dalton. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
***
"Baby," I felt Dalton shaking me awake.
"Mhm?" I mumbled, still half asleep.
"We're landing in ten minutes," he said. It could only mean I was asleep for nearly the whole four and a half hours.
"Was Imogen hungry when I was asleep?" I asked Dalton.
"Yeah, about two and a half hours ago," he replied, "I gave her the milk you pumped before we left."
"It's time to feed her again," I told him. He nodded and carefully handed Imogen to me. I lifted my top and started feeding her.
"She's always hungry, how often do you need to feed her?" he asked.
"Like every two to three hours," I answered. He then gave me a what the fuck look.
"That's like around ten times a day," he said, "no wonder you're always tired."
"I know right? You used to do that too when you were a baby, you know?"
I continued feeding her until she stopped sucking, just when the plane was landing. I placed her on my chest and burped her. She then went back to her sleep. The plane landed. We stood up and I had Imogen in my arms while Dalton carried our things. We got off the plane and went to the gate, just to be bombarded with questions by the paparazzi. I placed Imogen on my chest and hid her face. They were snapping pictures while shouting a bunch of questions at us, causing Imogen to wake up and start crying. Fucking paparazzi.
"You're going to be okay little one, Mommy's here," I softly said as I tried to comfort her, but it wasn't working, because the lights and shouting wouldn't stop.
"Can y'all please be more quiet? You're scaring her," Dalton said to the paparazzi. Still, they're ignoring him.
"Are y'all fucking deaf?" he snapped, "I told y'all you're scaring her, and y'all wouldn't even bother to listen. I swear if y'all don't shut the fuck up and leave us alone-"
Before he could finish his sentence, I placed my hand on his shoulder and he immediately softened. We continued walking until we met my dad who picked us up. We went to his car and drove off to Nonna's house. At this point, Imogen was still crying. She must've been really scared by all those lights and questions. I placed her on my chest and started singing to her since that's the best way to comfort her. Soon, she calmed down and I placed a kiss on her forehead.
"I can't believe my little girl is getting married," Dad said, "I can't wait to walk you down the aisle."
"I can't believe it either, I'm marrying the love of my life," I smiled as I placed my head on Dalton's shoulder. He ran his fingers through my hair and placed a kiss on my head.
"I love you," Dalton whispered.
"I love you too."
