a few months later...

"It's my daughter's birthday today," I smiled, looking at the crowd in London, "she had always wanted to be a singer, so to make this day even more special for her, let's welcome Imogen onstage!"

The crowd cheered and Imogen walked onstage, holding a microphone in her hand. She gave me a hug and I kneeled down to her height, receiving awes from the crowd.

"Say hi to everyone," I smiled.

"Hi everyone!" she beamed and the crowd cheered.

"Whose birthday is it today?" I asked her.

"Me!"

"How old are you?"

"Five!" she beamed, showing five fingers on her hand and received awes from the crowd.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

"I wanna be a singer like Mommy," she answered and the audience cheered.

"What do you wanna sing for everyone today?"

"Tattooed Heart," she answered and the crowd cheered for her.

"Mommy, sing with me," she beamed as the music started playing and I smiled.

"You don't need a lot of money," she began singing, "honey you don't have to play no games. All I need is all your loving, to get the blood rushing through my veins."

The crowd cheered and she continued to sing. The second verse then came up. She wanted me to sing, so I did. She held my hand and looked at me in the eyes, making my heart melt. The bridge came up and we asked the fans to sing with us. They started singing along, and it was a really beautiful moment. The song came to an end and we received applauds from the crowd. It was beautiful. I felt so proud of my daughter and I'll admit it, I cried a little. I pulled her into a hug and kissed her head and she wiped my tears away.

"Aww..." the crowd cheered and we both smiled. The cheers and applauds died down and I started talking to the microphone.

"London, thank you so much for tonight, I had a great time. It feels great being on tour again. May you enjoy the rest of the night," I smiled and the crowd cheered once again.

"Say thank you to the crowd," I said into Imogen's ear.

"Thank you so much, guys!" she beamed, receiving awes from the crowd. I held Imogen's hand and we walked offstage, waving at the fans.

"Amazing job, Piccolina," I smiled and placed kisses all over her face.

"Thank you Mommy," she said cutely.

"Great job baby," Dalton kissed my lips.

"You too, little one," he kissed her cheek.

"Thank you Daddy," she beamed.

"Let's get changed and go back to the hotel, shouldn't we?" Dalton asked and I nodded, going to the dressing room with Imogen. I removed my tour outfit and changed into something comfortable.

"Do you need any help, Piccolina?" I asked Imogen who was still changing.

"No thank you," she answered politely, "I'm a big girl now."

"You're growing up too fast," I pouted. She was done changing and we walked back out to where Dalton was. We then walked into the tour bus where the entire crew was. We got into the little bedroom and the bus began moving towards the hotel. Dalton layed down on the couch, while Imogen and I got comfortable on the tiny bed and she let out a little yawn.

"Thank you so much Mommy, I had the best birthday ever," she smiled.

"You're welcome Piccolina," I smiled, running my fingers through her curls. She closed her eyes and fell asleep on my chest.

"How are you feeling babe?" Dalton asked.

"Pretty tired, I haven't been on tour in a while, so I guess I just need to get used to it again," I answered and he nodded. This tour's only gonna be three months long. A month had passed, meaning there's only two months of touring to go. Imogen really wanted to join me on tour, but she also had to attend school, so she would be doing online learning as long as I'm still on tour. She only had two weeks of school left before winter break. Since Imogen came with us, we also decided to take the other two kids with us, especially since Francesca was still really depending on me. My mom agreed to come with us and help us look after the kids.

"I wanna cuddle with you but I don't want to wake her up," I pouted.

"We can cuddle as much as we want at the hotel," he smiled. "Okay."

I took my phone and opened Twitter. The video of Imogen singing Tattooed Heart had gone viral. She's gonna be so happy when we tell her. I had never felt so proud.

"Baby, look," I showed Dalton my phone.

"Holy shit!" he smiled, "She's gonna be so happy. You truly are her role model."

"I guess I'm just doing my job as a mom," I smiled. I then wrote a thank you post for the fans.

hey, just wanna say thank u sm for showing our daughter ur love and support. she's gonna be over the moon when she finds out, thank u sm for giving her the best birthday gift ever. love u 🤍

I put my phone away and decided to close my eyes for a little. The hotel's pretty far away, so I guess I could get a little bit of sleep.

"Baby?" I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Mhm?"

"We've arrived."

I opened my eyes and sat down before standing up. Dalton picked Imogen up and we went inside the hotel. We got into the elevator and pressed on our floor. Once we arrived, we went inside our suite and I helped Imogen change into her PJs. My mom and the other kids must've fallen asleep already. I got in the shower with Dalton and changed into our nightwear. We then got in bed and he wrapped his arm around me.

"Goodnight baby," I mumbled.
