"Happy birthday baby," Dalton kissed my forehead as soon as I woke up.

"Thanks babe," I smiled. I kissed his lips, smiling into the kiss.

"Hi little one," he smiled, talking to my stomach, "your mommy turns 27 today. I'm going to make her the happiest person alive."

"Aww, baby, you're going to be the best dad."

"And you're going to be the best mommy," he said cutely. I still couldn't believe there's a tiny human growing in my womb.

He then gave me breakfast in bed. He seemed really happy today. When I was done with breakfast, we both showered. Today's the day we're telling our friends and family about the baby. They would be here in about an hour, so we decided to cuddle a little in the living room.

"So, Fredo and I got you this for your birthday," Dalton said, handing me a box, "Hope you like it."

I opened the box and there were framed pictures of all of my dogs.

"Aww, baby, this is really cute, thank you," I kissed his cheek.

"You're welcome baby," he smiled. We cuddled a little more until the doorbell rang.

"Happy birthday Ari!" our friends and family exclaimed as soon as I opened the door.

"Aww, thanks guys, come in," I invited them. I led them into the living room, where we would be hosting the party.

"So, everyone," I started, "thank you so much for coming and for all of your birthday wishes. Now let's start all the fun with a game of treasure hunt."

Dalton immediately got the clue.

"So, Ariana and I had hidden some clues around the house. You will have to work together to crack the clues in order to earn the prize at the end of the game. Good luck," Dalton said, handing the first clue to Vic. Everyone immediately surrounded her and read the first clue, which led them to the kitchen. They found the next clue, which led them to one of the guest rooms. This kept on going on for the next 30 minutes.

"Found it!" I heard Tori squeal from the backyard. She was holding the box we used to tell them about my pregnancy.

"Open it," I smiled. Dalton wrapped his arm around me.

"Holy shit!" Tori screamed as soon as she opened the box. Everyone curiously surrounded her and tried to look at the content of the box. When they did, they gasped. Inside was an ultrasound picture with a small piece of paper saying see you in january :).

"I'm an uncle!" Frankie exclaimed.

"I'm an aunt!" Tori squealed.

"Girl, congratulations," Courtney smiled, giving me a hug, "How far along are you?"

"Thanks, Toots," I smiled, "I'm currently 12 weeks along."

Everyone were really happy for us, but something was a little off with my dad. He seemed pretty pissed off by the news.

"Excuse me for a while," I said, walking to my room. Dalton followed behind me. I sat down on the bed and buried my face in my knees.

"Baby, what's wrong?"

"I-I think my dad doesn't like you," I said, trying not to cry.

"Baby," he cooed, "it doesn't matter. Don't let one opinion ruin our happiness, okay?"

"It just hurts me to see people hating on you."

"I'm okay. I have learned to not give a fuck to all of the hate I received."

"Ariana, can we talk?" I heard a knock on the door.

"Y-yeah, sure," I replied, opening the door to see my dad.

"Look," he said, "I'm really sorry for how I reacted to the news earlier. I was just shocked that it was this early. I just don't want you to get hurt again. I'm really happy for you and Dalton."

He embraced me into a hug and I smiled, "Thanks Dad."

"Dalton," he said, approaching him, "please take a good care of her and your little one.

"I will, don't worry," Dalton smiled, wrapping his arm around my tiny body. I love how he's already being a protective dad since we found out. We went back downstairs and everyone were already in the living room.

"So, how's my brother as a dad?" Tori asked as soon as I sat down next to her.

"He's really sweet," I answered, "He's really protective of me and the baby since we found out. I mean, he's already protective of me even before I got pregnant, but now, he's even more protective."

"Aww..." said everyone in the room.

"Have you found out the gender yet?"

"No, I'm only 12 weeks along, but I'll find out in the next appointment. I really want a girl, though," I smiled, rubbing my stomach.

"Tell me, what's it like being pregnant," Vic said.

"My hormones are driving me crazy. I can sometimes snap at Dalton for the dumbest reasons. Thank goodness he's really understanding."

"It's okay, just snap at that doofus," Tori joked.

"Hey, why do you have to be so mean to me?" Dalton said, pretending to get hurt. We all laughed.

"Welp, that kid's got good genes," Brian said.

"Ooh, definitely," I said, "Dalton's literally the hottest man alive."

"And you're the cutest little bean," Dalton smiled, tapping on my nose, making me giggle.

"Aww... you two. KISS KISS KISS," Dakota exclaimed, soon followed by everyone in the room. I closed my eyes and attached my lips onto Dalton's, sharing a sweet, passionate kiss.

"Yayy!" everyone clapped. Next was all about gifts and stuffs like that. I opened the gifts, one by one. They got me the cutest gifts, and I thanked each of them.

"Actually," Dalton smiled, "I've got one more surprise for you."

Everyone in the room were grinning, as if they knew what that one surprise would be. What the fuck is going on?

"Ariana," he started, "ever since I laid my eyes on you, I immediately knew we were meant for each other. I know we had only been together for a little over five months, but you gave me the best moments of my life. I have never felt so connected to anyone the way I feel connected to you, and I will forever be grateful for you."

My eyes started to water. Is this what I think it is?

"Ariana Grande-Butera, he said, getting down on one knee, getting a little box out of his pocket and opening it, "will you marry me?"
