two weeks later...
"Happy release!" everyone exclaimed and I softly kissed Dalton's lips. Finally my seventh album, innocent, came out. There were 16 tracks in total with four collaborations, one featuring the iconic Nicki Minaj, one featuring Megan Thee Stallion, one featuring Victoria, and one featuring Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
Scooter wasn't happy about the fourth collab, so he wasn't involved at all, which was a good thing, because I wouldn't want any crazy brawls in the production of my album. He also refused to come to the release party because he wouldn't want to see Taylor, which was also good. He's a complete asshole sometimes.
We're all gathering at my living room and it was pretty wild. Dalton, Brian, Scott, Tommy, and the other guys moved to the other side of the room, while all the girls were with me. I asked Nicki and Vic to bring Papa Bear and Hazel, so now Imogen, Papa Bear, and Hazel were having a babies' get together.
"If the Grammys snub this album, we're gonna have to write a diss track together," Taylor said.
"Yass queen!" I squealed and everyone laughed.
"So, how are things going on between you and Dalton?" Taylor asked.
"We're going strong," I smiled, "he's really clingy and annoying sometimes, but he's really loving and protective. How are things going for you and Joe?"
"We actually got secretly married last year," she showed me her ring, "no one except our friends and family knew about it because we decided keep things very quiet."
"Girl, congratulations!" I pulled her into a hug.
"Thanks," she smiled, "I really miss him, though, I haven't seen him for a week because he's in London filming."
"Awe, I'm sorry, Tay."
"That's okay," she smiled, "he's coming back in two days."
"Mommy, look!" Imogen came to me, showing me something she drew.
"You drew this for me?"
"Yes Mommy," she beamed, giving me her drawing.
"Thank you Piccolina," I smiled. I kissed her cheek and she sat down on my lap.
"Hi Imogen," Taylor said.
"Hi," she waved shyly.
"She's really shy around new people," I told her and she nodded.
"Imogen, this is Auntie Taylor, she also sings and makes music like Mommy," I said to Imogen.
"Cool!" she squealed.
"And this is Auntie Nicki, Megan, and Selena, they also sing and make music," I introduced them.
"Wow!"
"Hi Imogen," Selena smiled, "give me a high five!"
Imogen gave her a high five even though she seemed really shy. It's just pretty cool that both Selena and Imogen were both born in Gomez families without even being related by blood.
"Girl, she's so cute and chubby," Megan said.
"She's so beautiful like her Mommy," Nicki said, making me smile. Imogen then ran back to Hazel and Papa Bear.
"Come on, let's take a picture," I said and they all nodded. We gathered in front of my phone camera and I snapped the picture. We took a few more pictures and I shared the pictures with them before posting some of them on Instagram. I captioned it: who run the world? girls. Some people sent sexist comments, but our fans started dragging them.
"Girls, look at how the fans dragged them," I chuckled, showing them my phone.
"Finally our fans can unite for once," Taylor laughed.
"I know right? Have you seen how your fans and mines were fighting over the dumbest things on Twitter?"
"Yeah."
"I saw hundreds of fans on Twitter fighting over who has a more attractive lover," I laughed.
"Wait, really?" she asked, surprised by how wild our fans could get, "I haven't been on Twitter in a while, so I'm a little late."
"They did, believe it or not."
"Oh my gosh."
"Mama!" Imogen, Hazel, and Papa Bear came running to me, Vic, and Nicki.
"What's wrong, Papa Bear?" Nicki asked her little boy.
"Bug," Imogen pointed at where they were playing. I went to the direction she pointed at to get rid of the bug that scared them. It wasn't a bug, it's a spider. It was huge, no wonder the kids got scared.
"Oh, baby girl, that wasn't a bug, it's a spider," I chuckled.
"Spooder?"
"Spider," I chuckled.
"Mommy, I'm scared," she hugged my leg.
"Don't worry, little one, I'll ask Daddy to get rid of it, okay?" I asked her and she nodded.
"Baby, there's a big spider scaring the kids, can you please get rid of it?" I asked Dalton as I approached him.
"Where is it?" he asked. I showed him where the spider was. He took a tissue and picked up the spider before throwing it outside.
"Thank you Daddy," Imogen beamed.
"You're welcome, little blossom," he smiled and kissed her head. He went back to the boys and the kids started playing again, so I decided to go back to the girls.
"What did you feed Imogen?" Vic asked, "How is she really smart?"
"Well, that's because I'm her Mommy," I joked.
"Oh well, Dalton's about to get offended," she said and we both laughed.
"Hazel is really cute, though," I told her.
"Oh well, just wait until you see her completely fussy side," she chuckled.
"I can't believe she's gonna turn one next month."
"I know right?" Vic said, "She just started walking small steps last week, she'll probably say her first word soon."
"Trust me, you're gonna be over the moon when she says her first word."
"I really can't wait," she smiled. We then had a karaoke session. Soon, it was getting closer to midnight. Everyone left, leaving only me, Dalton, and Imogen who was already half asleep. I changed her outfit into her onesie and tucked her under the blanket. I changed into one of Dalton's T-shirts and joined him in bed. He turned the lights off and kissed me goodnight.
