several months later...

"Happy birthday Piccolina," I smiled, picking up the little girl who's standing in her crib. She just learned how to walk. She had grown so much the past few months. It's been a year since I held her for the first time, isn't that crazy? I placed kisses on her face and she giggled, showing her four teeth.

"Happy birthday my little girl," Dalton smiled, kissing her cheek, "don't grow up too fast."

"Can you give Daddy a kiss?" Dalton asked. I moved her closer to him and she started slobbering his face with kisses.

"Give some to Mommy too," he said, making me smile. She then attacked my face with kisses, making me smile.

"Mommy and Daddy love you so much, little one," Dalton said. I placed my head on his shoulder and he kissed my cheek.

"I'll give her a bath," I said to Dalton, "we need to get her ready to celebrate her birthday."

"Okay, I'll get her dress ready," he said, and I nodded. I took her to the bathroom and filled the tub with warm water. I poured in the bubbles and put her favorite rubber duck in. I got in the tub with her and she started playing with the bubbles. I've been having baths with Imogen pretty often. I still have baths and showers with Dalton too, but only when she's asleep or when someone's there to watch her.

As usual, she started babbling some sounds. She's just a step away from saying her first word. I started rubbing her back as she was playing with her rubber duck. After a while, she was starting to get bored, so she started playing with my hair.

"You're like your Daddy," I chuckled. She looked at me and tried to babble something, but I was having a hard time to understand what she was trying to say.

"Cutie," I smiled. I cleaned and dried her body and mine and wrapped her with a towel. I wrapped myself in a towel and took her out of the bathroom. Dalton put her lavender dress on her along with a matching bow on her hair while I got myself dressed.

"You have your Mommy's curls too," he said, "I told you you're an exact copy of your Mommy."

"She has a lot of hair like you though," I told him, "I don't have that much hair."

"That's the only thing about her that makes her look like me," he pouted sadly.

"Don't be sad baby, her eyes kinda look like yours too," I said, trying to cheer him up.

"I guess you're right," he lightly smiled.

"C'mon, I'll make breakfast, you can have a shower," I said and he nodded. I took Imogen downstairs and put her on her highchair. I helped her put a bib on to make sure she wouldn't ruin her dress and made her some baby cereal. I gave her the bowl of cereal and a little spoon and she started eating. She had learned how to eat on her own recently.

I started making some pancakes for me and Dalton. I mixed all of the ingredients and poured the batter into the pan. I flipped the pancakes and let them cook for a few more seconds before placing them on the plate. I sprinkled some almonds and decorated them with some blueberries.

"You want some blueberries?" I asked Imogen and she cutely nodded, making me giggle. I gave her some of the blueberries and she started eating them.

"I can smell something delicious," I heard Dalton say. He walked behind me and wrapped his arm around my waist, making me smile.

"Let's eat," I said, and he nodded. We sat down on the dining table and I gave him his pancakes. We started eating our pancakes until I heard Imogen babble something.

"Ma ma ma," she babbled.

"Come on, Piccolina, say Mommy," I said excitedly.

"Ma-" she hesitated.

"Say Mommy," I encouraged.

"Ma-ma-Mommy," she said.

"There you go!" I squealed. I picked her up and placed kisses on her face, making her giggle.

"Now say Daddy," I said, making Dalton smile.

"Da-Daddy," she said, making both of us smile.

"My baby girl," he smiled, kissing her cheek, "you're a big girl now."

I placed her back on her chair so that she could finish her breakfast. We continued eating our breakfast and when we were done, Dalton washed the dishes while I cleaned Imogen's mess.

"So, Imogen," I said to her, "since it's your birthday, Mommy got something for you."

I showed her the necklace I got for her. It was a gold necklace with a little crescent moon pendant. She looked at me curiously and I put the necklace around her neck.

"Do you like it?" I asked her, showing her reflection in my phone camera. She started clapping her hands together.

"Cutie," I smiled, "you will always be my moonlight."

"Daddy got you something too," Dalton said. He got a paper bag and showed her some onesies and a teddy bear. He gave her the teddy bear and she hugged it. I quickly took my phone out and snapped a picture of her.

"Look at her," I smiled, showing Dalton the picture.

"She's a cute little bean, just like her Mommy," he said, making me smile.

"Do you think I should post a picture of her?" I asked him, "It's been a year and people are dying to see her."

"Go ahead if you want to and if you're ready," he said.

"I think I'll post a few pictures of her, just this once," I said, "are you okay with it though? I just wanna make sure, because she's your child too."

"I'm okay with it," he said and I nodded. I selected three pictures of her to post: one was a picture of me holding her when she was just born, one was a picture of her cuddling with Dalton a few months ago, and the last one was the picture I just took. I captioned the post: happy birthday to my baby bear, my piccolina, and my sugar pie :) love u sm and grateful for u everyday.

Post. Soon, the post started to blow up. The comment section was filled with fans saying happy birthday and how good-looking she is.
