the next morning...

Dalton had been really quiet, and I didn't know why. He didn't even say a thing during breakfast. He just seemed really scared and anxious. Something seemed off with him.

"Baby, what's wrong?" I asked him. He just shook his head without saying anything. I frowned.

"Baby, you know you can always tell me anything right?" I asked as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Just something stupid."

"You can tell me, I won't judge," I smiled. With that, he showed me his phone screen. There were tons of hate directed towards him.

"Ariana Grande's Fiancé Was Rude To Paparazzi"

"Does Ariana Grande Have A Rude Fiancé?"

"Ariana Grande's Fiancé Was Caught Yelling At the Paparazzi"

Those articles were about the incident at the airport yesterday. My poor baby, he was just trying to protect our daughter. I pulled him into a hug and placed a kiss on his lips.

"Don't worry about them baby," I smiled, "true fans will understand that you're just trying to protect Imogen."

"I know, but a lot of your fans don't like me either," he frowned.

"Don't mind them babe," I reassured, "only the true fans will respect my decisions and want us to be happy."

"Please don't leave me babe," he whispered. He wrapped his arms around me and placed a kiss on my forehead. His clingy side would only appear when he's sick or upset. Other than that, he would be a really protective guy.

"I'm not leaving you baby," I reassured. I decided to speak up and tell people to mind their own fucking business, so I opened Twitter and posted a tweet.

Soon, people started responding. One person was even there at the airport when the incident happened, so she posted the full video of what happened, starting from the time he said it nicely until the time he lost his patience. Some also told the others to give us some privacy because we need them too.

"Look babe," I said as I showed him my phone, "a lot of people understand, someone even have the whole footage of what happened."

"Thanks baby," he smiled, "you didn't have to do that though."

"I'll do anything for the man I love the most," I smiled. He smiled and attached his lips onto mine. I placed my head on his lap as he ran his fingers through my hair, making me smile.

"Tonight will be the last night we can spend together as an engaged couple," he said, "then we won't be seeing each other after dinner tomorrow night."

"I'll miss you," I pouted, "I don't know if I'll be able to sleep."

"Awe, baby," he smiled, "don't worry, it's all going to be worth it."

He continued playing with my hair until Imogen woke up and started making some noise. I picked her up from her crib and sat back down next to Dalton as I started feeding her.

Today, we're going to spend a whole day together with our families. We'll watch a movie, play some games, and have some chit chats. This way, it would help our families get along with each other even better.

later that night...

We're in the living room sitting in a circle. I was next to Dalton having Imogen in my arms. She's awake, which was something that rarely occurs after 8 pm. It's now 9 pm, and we had just finished playing monopoly.

"Now that we've played games and everything," Tori said, "let's tell embarrassing childhood stories about the groom and bride."

"Let's do it," Frankie said with that cheeky face he has when he's in the mood to tease me.

"I'll start," Verna said, "When Dalton was three, he used to collect a lot of stuffed animals. He named each one of them and made sure none of them were missing. There was this one time Dakota hid one of them and he cried for the whole day."

"I didn't do that," Dalton crossed his arms as we all started laughing.

"Well you did, you just didn't remember it," Hector chuckled.

"Time to expose my sister!" Frankie said excitedly.

"When Ariana was five," my mom started, "she had a major crush on Justin Timberlake. She was afraid to take her clothes off because she believed that he had a crystal ball that would make him see her naked."

"I could confirm that," Frankie said, making everyone laugh. I buried my face on Dalton's chest as I felt embarrassed.

"Now you would gladly strip in front of me," he whispered in my ear, making me blush.

"Sir, you aren't exactly the best at whispering," Frankie said, causing everyone to burst out laughing. I buried my face on Dalton's chest, feeling embarrassed as fuck. I could tell Dalton was embarrassed too, because he was really quiet and didn't say a single thing.

"My brother is crazy," Dakota said.

"Oh shut up, don't act like you've never fucked a girl and get her moaning," Dalton said. I smacked his arm.

"Ow!"

"What did I tell you about dirty talks?"

"Not in front of our daughter," he said.

"And?"

"I'm sorry Mommy," he said in a sarcastic tone.

"You better not do it again or I'm whooping your ass."

"There's a grumpy mommy, I see," Frankie said in a teasing manner.

"Oh shut up, do you want to be the first one with a whooped ass?"

"No Mama," he said, making everyone laugh, "you're scary."
