Avu went near Sid. Sid looked up with his puffy and teary eyes.
Sid: Avu I didn't do anything. Trust me please
Avu felt a pang in her heart seeing him like this. She sat on knees in front of him. She hugged him tightly and he burried his face in her chest and cried his heart out. She was caressing his hair.
Sid: She...sat...on my lap. I..I didn't.... f...force h..her
He said between his sobs.
Avu: Shhh calm down
He finally calmed down but still had tears. He looked up at her with teary eyes without breaking the hug.
Sid: I didn't do anything I swear
He said like a baby and her heart melted even more. She slowly broke the hug and cupped his face.
Avu: Sid do you think I will trust that bitch and I know you can't do anything like that
She said caressing his cheek with her thumb. She wiped off his tears and removed his hair from his forhead and placed a kiss there.
Avu: I know my Sid very well. He can never do anything like that
Sid smiled at her with tears and hugged her again so tightly as his life depended on her. She patted his back and kissed his hair. They closed their eyes lost in each other's embrace in silence. Comfortable silence!!!! It was broken by Sid.
Sid: You trust me Avi?
Avu: More than myself
He smiled. Their moment broke by a fake cough.
