I woke up feeling warm, safe, and cozy. A pair of strong arms were wrapped around me comfortably. When I opened my eyes I found myself in the little fort that Daniel made for us last night. Beautiful sunlight was coming through the windows. It gave the living room a golden glow. The blankets that Daniel built was perfect, because it blocked most of the light, so it wasn't intense. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and stretched as much as I could. He gently tightened his arms around me before asking if I slept okay. "Yeah, I slept great actually. How did you sleep?" I said. "I slept great too." He replied. The two of us snuggled for a while before we eventually started getting up. Neither one of us wanted to get up, but we did anyway. He took a shower while I started making us breakfast. I fried some bacon, eggs, and hash browns as well as toast. I brewed a fresh pot of coffee as well. Once the food was finished he came downstairs and complimented on how everything smelled. I thanked him as we poured ourselves cups of coffee. Then we filled our plates with the food I cooked for us. "So... did you really sleep good, or did you just say that because we slept next to each other?" He asked after we ate for a little while.

"I slept so good, Daniel. It's probably the best sleep I've had in a long time." I replied, which made him smile. He looked so cute. After eating we cleaned everything up. We continued drinking coffee as we watched the morning news and hangout in the fort. It was so relaxing. "I'm so glad you came to visit me. You really helped me feel so much better." I said after a long moment of comfortable silence. "Don't mention it, y/n. What are friends for?" He said happily as I snuggled into his side. I was so so happy that I have him in my life. Without him I'd probably would have had a mental breakdown from work and everything. Deep down I hoped I'd never lose him.
