Today was the day. The last day Sam, Bucky, and Zemo were going to be here with me. I so wasn't ready for them to leave but I knew they had to. There were things they needed to do that didn't involve me. But I did hope they could have at least stayed another week. Helmut and I cuddled in bed for a while after we woke up. Neither one of us wanted to get up. We were laying on our sides facing each other, and he sweetly nuzzled his adorable nose against mine. It made me giggle and a beautiful smile spread across his handsome face; he did a little giggle of his own. When he pulled away slightly we looked at each other's lips and then looked into each other's eyes. As we closed the distance between us once more he nuzzled my nose again, but this time was different. I could feel his warm breath on my face and it made my heart skip a beat. "Can I kiss you?" He whispered. "Yes." I whispered back so shyly. Our lips met in the softest kiss. We gently kissed each other and my insides melted. Everything about the kiss was so perfect; it was so much better than I could have ever imagined. We broke the kiss briefly before he captured my lips with his again. He tangled his fingers in my hair and I placed my hands on his chest. The two of us were basically in the middle of making out when there was a knock on the door.

"Hey, breakfast is ready. What are you two love birds doin' in there?" Sam said and I could hear the smile in his voice. Helmut and I giggled as we broke the kiss. "Maybe we should get up and eat breakfast." Helmut said after a few moments of silence filled with blushing and butterflies. "I know, but I don't want to." I whined a little and he smiled before he kissed me again. His lips felt so unbelievably soft. I would have kissed him all day if I could. We made out for a little while before we eventually got out of bed. I changed into a pair of sweatpants and I snatched one of Helmut's soft sweaters. "You look so cute in my shirt." He said as he wrapped his arms around me. He was half dressed; he was shirtless and looked so good. Just looking at Helmut made me blush and gave me butterflies. I kissed his collarbone, which made him gently tighten his strong arms around me. "I'm going to miss you so much, Y/n." He said as he kissed the top of my head. "I'm gonna miss you too Helmut." I replied as I snuggled into his chest. Once he put a shirt on we walked out into the kitchen where Sam and Bucky were. They were eating while they were discussing things. Probably about what they had to pack for their trip. "Well, good afternoon." Sam said in a joking way that made me smile. It was only eleven o'clock in the morning. "Stop it Sam, they were probably just enjoying each other's company." Bucky said with a small smile on his face. They kept talking while Helmut and I got some coffee to drink. And then we filled our plates with the food Sam had cooked for us. "Is the plan still the same as we discussed?" Helmut asked.

"Yeah. As far as I can tell. We'll have to get everything packed today so we don't lose any time in the morning." Sam said as we continued eating. I suddenly felt sad. The three of them would be getting up way before the crack of dawn to take a plane god knows where. The thing that bothered me the most was the thought of Helmut getting hurt or worse... getting killed. I'm not sure what I'd do if I lost him. I guess he sensed the way I was feeling, because he reached for my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. His hands were big and mine fit perfectly into his. We held hands underneath the table as we finished eating breakfast. Helmut and I offered to clean up. Sam and Bucky got started on packing, making sure they had everything they needed. I kept quiet because I really didn't know what to say. But I knew as the day went on I'd probably feel worse. I don't think anything anyone could say would make me feel better about this situation. After we were finished cleaning up I went to help Helmut pack. I didn't wanna just sit all alone in the living room. "You can keep that sweater you're wearing." He said as he looked through the closet that he had put his clean clothes. The ones he had already worn and washed while he was staying here. "Are you sure?" I asked him curiously. "Of course. You look absolutely adorable in it, and besides.... you can wear it whenever you miss me. Maybe even wear it to bed of you want." He said, and I smiled. I thanked him for allowing me to keep his sweater. Once he made sure he had everything he needed, we sat on the floor next to my bed. "When I come back for you I wanna show you the world. We could travel to wherever you want to go." He said with a dreamy look in his beautiful eyes.
