As I was walking down the street, I heard a few gunshots. I panicked a little and looked around. I wasn't sure where they were coming from. A few more shots rang out before someone ran towards me. 'This is it. I'm going to get killed. I survived Sakovia, and three years later I'm going to be shot down.' I said inside of my head. But the man who ran my way grabbed me and pulled me to safety.

When I calmed down and looked at the man, I realized he was wearing a mask. A purple mask. The same mask I found in Sakovia three years ago. Then I remembered the man who came to my apartment. He had wanted the mask and claimed that it was his. "Hey, I know you. I don't know your name, but... I know you." I said, and recognition filled his big doe like brown eyes. "I know you too. You're the one who found my mask." He said in his deep voice. We looked at each other for what felt like forever.

"Thank you for saving me, sir." I said awkwardly as I broke the eye contact. "There's no need to thank me, and please... call me Zemo." He replied, and I smiled. "Zemo? As in the practically royal Zemo family" I asked, amazed that this man was a very well known Sakovian family. "The very same. I'm Helmut." I noticed his fancy fur collared jacket. He wasn't wearing that when we first met, and I wondered why he had a fashion change.

"Would you like to get something to eat? It's freezing out here, and you look starved to death." He said as he looked me over. It was very cold and I was very hungry. I had to ration food because I had fallen upon bad times. Most of my money was used to pay bills and medicine. "I would appreciate that very much." I said before we left for a quiet cafe that he chose. There wasn't many people inside, which was ideal in my opinion. We sat at a secluded table and ordered coffees. He chose the food we ate, which I didn't mind.

I hadn't been to this cafe before and it was clear that he had. We talked about the friends and family we had lost in the battle of Sakovia. Hearing him talk about his wife and son broke my heart. The two of us really connected as we had lunch together. I was amazed that the two of us had something in common. Especially since we looked so different. He almost seemed like a comic book anti hero or something. I just hoped that he would stay in my life for a while. I didn't like being alone for so long.
