The lights were brighter than any she had faced before, her eyes slowly opened with a frown and a groan. Her mind was foggy either due to the drugs or passing out, her eyes drifted around the room seeing a blurry figure slumped in a chair beside her bed, was it him? She began to panic slightly, the heart monitor rising as her vision cleared and someone reached out for her hand which was promptly pulled away.
"It's okay, it's just me." She frowned for a moment seeing the leader of bts sat looking at her with worry. She attempted to say his name but her mouth betrayed her coming out as a weak moan. "You've been out for a few hours, they would only let one of us in at a time. How do you feel?" She rubbed her face noticing her bare skin on full display and her mind began to wonder.
"Where am I?"
"The hospital sweetheart." She looked at him and took note of the drip attached to her hand. "Do you remember what happened?" She attempted to clear her mind and shook her head still looking around at the closed room.
"You passed out, Luna, the doctors are very worried about you, you need to tell me what's going on with you." She finally looked him in the eyes and saw the concern filling his face, now she felt the guilt.
"Fuck Hobi-"
"He's fine. He's outside, he called us to come and help after it happened, the police are here to- and... your father is here." Namjoon noted the way fear filled her eyes and her heart rate rose slightly.
"Shit." She groaned starting to allow her fear to grab hood of her. "Please, don't let him in here. Please Namjoon I-"
"It's okay. I won't, sweetheart you need to talk to the police, do you know how close you were to doing real damage to yourself." It all came flooding back to her at he spoke. The locks everywhere, the 'discipline.' Even the feeling of his harsh grip on her hair. Then she thought about what he might do if she told the police. "Where did the bruises come from?" She finally snapped out of her thoughts looking at her arms that were now a garden of blue and purple.
"I can't tell you." Namjoon closed his eyes in regret as she said those words and he finally got hold of her hand.
"You're safe now. If you say the words he won't come near you again." She looked to him with tears in her eyes shaking her head.
"You don't understand it, he will find a way, I'll never be safe, all of this is making it worse I can't handle it just-"
"Handle it? Luna if you had gone any longer your organs would've shut down. You can't handle it and you know it. So please just let us help you, I have 6 other really upset boys outside all wanting nothing more than to help you."
"Tae is here?" She asked quietly and namjoon was taken back by the question. She didn't think he would come? And why the interest in him. "You let him see me like this? God, he's-"
"Stop worrying. He's fine, he's worried and honestly he blames himself for not talking-"
"He told you?" Namjoon gave a regretful nod. Luna sank back in the bed on placed her hand on her forehead thinking about it for a moment. "Would you think less of me if I went back?" He knew there was no stopping her but decided to be honest.
"I think... if you go back to him you may as well start digging your own grave, he'll kill you before you have a chance to get better. He doesn't love you like a father should Luna."
"What would you have me do?" Namjoon got up shaking his head at her.
"Get better. And the moment you get the chance get him gone. Truth is none of us want to see you suffer, especially Tae." Her head shot up to look at him and he nodded at her reaction. "Yeah, I notice Luna. I noticed the subtle looks and the touches, you care for each other. So please if you don't want to do it for yourself do it for him. Don't make him see you hurt." He walked out of the room leaving her feeling a sort of melancholy way as she lay in the bed unsure of what to say. The door clicked open and she looked back up seeing her father stood at the door.
"You're finally awake." He came to slump in the chair where Namjoon had been two minutes before. "Imagine the distress I felt getting a call today to say not only that you were in hospital but that me, your own father, the man who raised you. Wasn't allowed near you.  That broke my heart Luna." She watched his hands waiting for the inevitable moment it hit her skin but he just hummed to himself in response. "Why would you do this to your father Hmm? All I want is for my little girl to be happy, but my you misbehave too much."
"I-"
"Shut up. I'm talking. Now listen." He said sternly getting even closer to her with a hand tightly wrapped around her wrist. "You're going to tell the police nothing has happened. You did this too yourself. You're going to discharge yourself and we are going to go home and talk. Then you aren't leaving your room for a week. Do you understand?" She gave a small nod and he let go of her with a smile. "Good girl. I'll go tell everyone. Also tell those pretty boys outside to leave you alone. You don't need them, you only need me." He left the room and she was filled with more fear than anything else. Her eyes darted around the room for something. Then she saw the camera in the corner of her room, she knew someone else's the other side. Surely they saw it. She had nothing one her, no phone anything to call for help. She got up pulling the wires off of her body and grabbed her jacket slipping her shoes on. She was still shaky from everything and slowly she pulled the door open. She looked up and down the halls for something with no luck she thought about running but where would she go.
"Hey what are you doing up?" She turned around seeing Suga as she sighed with relief. "What's-" she yanked him into a hug as her father turned the corner.
"I'm not safe. It's under the Matt." He looked at her blankly as he father called her name. She looked back at him her darkened eyes full of fear and regret.
"What do you mean?"
"Luna I said now!" He demanded from down the hall and she shook her head giving him a smile.
"I'll see you at work okay." She walked off and her father grabbed her wrist yanking her down the hall. Yoongi ran the other way to get to the boys before they could and he gasped to catch his breath.
"What?" A concerned jungkook looked at him placing a hand on his shoulder.
"He-" the man stopped talking as they turned to the corner. He still had a firm grip on her tiny wrist and frankly he looked like he could break it at any moment. She looked at the boys almost begging that someone would stop them but to be honest they were all too shocked. Until he came into view.
"Wait-" she tried to stop walking but her father wouldn't let up "please-" he whispered something to him and he stopped walking looking from him to her letting go of her wrist. She walked over stopping in front of taehyung. "It's not your fault okay." She gave him a hopeful smile much like the one she had given him that night and he faltered slightly.
"Let's go." Her father said sternly from behind her and Tae captured her wrist. It wasn't nasty or demanding like her father had been but gentle and desperate.
"Don't do this again. Stay." She glanced at Namjoon and the other boys who were all tense.
"Luna! Now!" She flinched at the sound and panicked a little wanting nothing more than to just hide into Tae, he gave her a look as if to tell her it was alright when she was yanked out of his grip and pulled away by her father. He held her arm sternly like she was a rag doll and taehyung stepped forward.
"Stop." The group looked at him in shock they wasn't expecting the low growl to come from his throat but he was laughed at by the man.
"We've played this game before. You walked away last time."
"Not this time." As if by some kind of miracle the police came back from their break as this was happening. Her name was called by an officer and suddenly her father changed letting go of his tightly hood and backing away.
"If you're feeling Berger we would like to ask a few questions, please bring someone if you still feel unwell." He father straightened his jacket about to follow when she looked at taehyung.
"Come with me please." She looked at him almost begging and he stepped forward placing a gentle arm around her waist guiding her to follow the police officers.
