Hidden truths

They had been filming for weeks now. Cameras constantly on them invading their privacy, of course they were all used to it being idols but it was hard especially with Luna's recovery. Although the constant doctors visits and medications she didn't seem to be getting better. The last 3 days she had been in bed with a fever which was 'most likely due to stress' the doctors told them. The boys were doing everything possible to make sure she was looked after but their schedules were unbelievably busy planning the next album.
It was around noon when the door opened and the youngest of them stepped into the bedroom to check in on her.
"Noona? How are you feeling?" He came to sit down beside her noticing her fever had turned into shivers, the man huffed pulling the blanket over her making sure she was warm before brushing her he laid out the way. "Noona? You gotta come and eat something." She moaned a little covering her face.
"But I'm tired kookie..." he bit his lip knowing she needed her rest but he was worried about how little she was eating in that moment.
"I know Noona but please? I made some food and then we can cuddle before the boys get home." She gave a little nod allowing him to carry her to the couch and wrap her up in a blanket when she shivered. "Here, eat a bit of this for me I'll get you some water." She did as she was told, her shaking hands didn't go unnoticed by jungkook as he pulled out his phone to text Namjoon about it. 

Joon:
She's probably just tired kookie. Don't stress we'll be home soon. I'll speak to the doctor.

Jungkook:
As long as you're sure.

Joon:
Keep an eye on her if anything changes call me.

He came to sit down helping her to sip some water when he noticed her heavy breathing.
"Noona are you feeling okay?" She nodded a little pulling the blanket closer.
"I feel sick..." her face dried of colour and he moved as quickly as he could to get her to the bathroom holding her hair back as she threw up in the toilet.
"That's it, good girl. Our poor baby... it's okay." He rubbed her back noting how cold her skin was when there was voices down the hall. "That's the boys. You okay if I go and tell them what's going on?" She gave a nod and threw up yet again letting him run off to great Hobi, Jimin and taehyung who were back from dance practice.
"What's up? She-" they heard the sounds of vomiting and grew concerned.
"I'm really worried. She's freezing cold and she's shaky and- he breathing is really heavy. I think she's really sick." The boys looked at eachother in confused when they heard her voice.
"Kookie!" She shouted before vomiting again. The four came to see if she was okay and Jimin walked over kneeling down.
"Hey honey... what's going on? You sick?" He placed a hand on her shoulder and flinched at the cold sink. She whined moving out the way a little.
"I'm scared..."
"Jagiya-"
"There's blood." Jimin looked over her shoulder at the red substance in the toilet and his eyes widened.
"I erm- I- I- Hobi hyung come here." He walked over giving her a small smile and saw the mess.
"Alright, sunshine you still feel sick?" She gave a nod shivering yet again leaning on her arm against the toilet seat. "Okay. You stay right there, I'm gonna call Namjoon quick. Kook go get some more blankets, she's freezing. You two stay with her." He left the room hearing the sounds of comfort from the younger boys as she was sick again.

Hobi what's up
"We need to call a doctor now. You guys need to come hone."
What's going on? We can't just-
"Joon I've come home and she's throwing up blood. I don't know much about medical shit but I know that isn't right."
Shit. Okay. Boys pack up we need to get home. Don't argue... no now.
"What do I do?"
Erm... what else? Is she just being sick?
"She's freezing cold to the point she's shaking. I've got jungkook to wrap her up and the boys are with her. He said something about her finding it hard to breath. Joon I'm really worried about this I-"

"Hobi!" Taehyung screamed from the bathroom. He practically sprinted their way with the phone still to his ear.

Hobi? Hobi? What's happening? We're getting in the car. What-
He dropped the phone looking at her shaking frame locked in Jimin's arms. She coughed and wheezed as her eyes rolled to the back of her head gripping jimins arm.
"Call a fucking ambulance Tae." He raced over helping Jimin to turn her on her side. "Dont pin her. She might get hurt, just keep her on her side in case she's sick. Luna? Luna sunshine? Can you hear me?" She didn't really only continuing with her movements as Jimin and him held her gently on her side. He began to panic when the sound of shouting erupted from the hall and more bodies poured into the bath.
"Fuck..." she gulped for air but her lungs betrayed her letting out a strangled gasp. "Jimin. Go help jungkook get her stuff ready. Hobi, we'll take over to calm down." Jin ordered coming to her side to take jimins place.
Not long after this the ambulance turned up. Jin stayed with her while the paramedics worked to find the cause of her problems.
"Rash on stomach, oxygen intake low, blood pressure drop.... sepsis."
"What? What is that?" He stood listening to the words fly out of their mouths almost in shock himself.
"Early signs of shock. We need to get her to the hospital." It was like a storm had hit when she was taken. No one knew how to react. Jin stood without an awnser opting to let Namjoon go in the ambulance with her.

What is sepsis?
Sepsis is a life-threatening illness caused by your body's response to an infection. Your immune system protects you from many illnesses and infections, but it's also possible for it to go into overdrive in response to an infection.
"Kook. I need you to tell me if she had any of this before she was sick."
"Okay?"
"patches of discolored skin, decreased urination, changes in mental ability, problems breathing, abnormal heart functions, chills due to fall in body temperature, unconsciousness, extreme weakness" jungkook looked at him blankly thinking for a moment.
"I mean I didn't see her use the bathroom before... and she was acting kind of slow but she said she was tired... she did keep shaking and saying she was cold... when I checked on her she was sleep and erm she couldn't pick up her drink properly..."
"What is it hyung?" Yoongi asked looking at his elder almost scared.
"I heard them say it and I wanted to know... they think she has a blood infection... it says it can be caused by hospitalisation.... I think we need to go to the hospital."
