“Once someone's hurt you, it's harder to relax around them, harder to think of them as safe to love."

*~*~*

I force my watery eyes open, hearing loud laughs and a football game going on coming from the radio. My thoughts are running around and I try to breathe to come down and think, but even that is hard to do. My hands, legs and mouth are taped. Couldn't they have tied me? Taped? Really? How hard do they want this to be?

This is all Ale's fault. First he lies to me and hides things from me, and how his goons are coming after me.

Since you are Alex's plaything.

Plaything.

Is that what he told them about me?

This is not the time to be thinking about him Eufy.

I close my eyes and take in another deep breath. Now how am I going to do this? I have to make sure I escape before they can take me to wherever it is that they are taking me, or it is going to be so much harder. And I can't risk it, I am not alone here, my baby is too.

Luckily, they tied my hands in front of me, so that gives me a chance.

I start using my teeth to create holes in the tape that is on my mouth, but that makes a loud noise and both eyes snap in my direction.

Where are the other two guys anyway?
Wait, are they going to do something bad to Ale?

"Hey! What is it you think you are doing?" The one in the passenger seat snaps "You want to play stubborn huh?" He asks and I shake my head vigorously from side to side. I don't need them getting in my way, so for the mean time I'll act as if I am scared, which is true, I am frightened. But I need to man up for my baby.

"Don't you worry, I'm going to be calling that boyfriend of yours" he says before fishing for a phone from his back pocket. Pressing a few keys, he dials Ale's number.

"Alex"  he says and the voice on the other end is as silent as night.

"You might want to hear this" he says, before taking my arm and twisting it, causing me to scream. Did he really have to do that? All he had to do was tell me to scream. Is not like anything can be heard from this tape anyway. Oh God please help me. These people are crazy.

"LET HER GO RIGHT NOW!" Ale screams and I close my eyes in relief, I haven't heard his voice in so long if feels like ages.

"Now now boy, you are in no position to give us orders. Pay us what you owe, or we kill your baby mama and that bastard she's carrying. Seriously, I didn't know you had such a fine woman for a baby mama. We might enjoy that fine ass of hers before shooting her brains out"

Ar-re t-they going to r-rape m-me? God no.

"Don't you dare touch her"

"It seems you're not understanding the language I'm speaking. Don't. Piss. Me. Off. Now pay up, I'll be waiting, you have only twenty four hours, or, I fuck her and then kill her. Fuck knows she needs a good fuck and a long dick and not the tiny pencil you shoved into her to get her pregnant" he says and hungs up before turning to me "Let's hope your boyfriend pays up hun, or you are going to be dead along with that baby of yours, not before I show you a good time that is" he says and the other guy driving bursts into laughter while I into tears.

I can't endure that again. I just can't. Oh God, why did I meet Ale anyway?

I have to do something. I raise my head to see where we are, and from the looks of it, we are on the highway going out of the city. I can't allow them to take me anywhere. I have to save my baby.

With the thought in mind, I stealthily remove the tape from my mouth quietly instead of ripping it off. I let out a quiet breath.

Luckily, the rear view mirror in this car is cracked, so it'll be hard for them to spot my actions.

I take off the one of my hands next with my teeth, letting out a victory dance in my head when I get it done. I bring my legs infront of me to do the next one, but my bump makes it difficult to reach it. Breathing quietly out of my mouth, I stretch my hands and manage to remove it. I throw my head back on the seat, sweat everywhere.

I seriously can't wait to take a shower.

I look around frantically for my bag, trying to be as quiet as possible. I find it behind the crazy man's seat, and grab it quietly. My eyes snap to the car door on my left, which is closer to the cement thing they have made on the highway. This is incredibly dangerous, but I have no choice. I just pray that I don't lose my baby in the process.

Without thinking much and saying a heartfelt prayer for God to protect my child, I unlock the door, which causes the guy to snap his eyes in my direction. His expression changes when he sees I've managed to escape from the restraints, and I don't wait a second more, before opening the door and flying on to the ground, the last thing I hear is a loud, "HEY!" from the car.

The hit to the ground was strong, almost too strong, and a sob wrecks out of me when I see my bleeding hands. I push myself off the floor and not look behind me, knowing they will be coming after me.
Instead, I run dangerously in between cars, nearly getting hit, and find myself on the pedestrian walk.

I run into some hedges close by and hide there, before taking my phone and calling 911.

"911 what's your emergency?" They ask and I give them the information plus the location which I hope is correct, praying they get here sooner before I pass out.
