Alexandre's POV

I watch her on the stage, as she twirls her hair around and moves her body to the music. Damn, I've never seen a woman so beautiful. My attraction towards her was a fast one, all I had to do was hear one word from that cute little mouth and I was a goner.
I had this strong urge to protect her, to keep her all to myself. To be the shoulder she turns to when she wants one to cry on. I wanted to be her knight in shining armour. I wanted to listen to her, to be her listener, and to be able to pass on words of encouragement to keep her standing. She has been through a lot. She has her own scars. She has a walls up. And damn it to hell if I say it won't be hard to bring down those walls and allow me to be that man for her, it'll be damn difficult.
When it personally comes to me, I don't even know what I feel for her and how I feel about her. All I know is that I want to be that man she runs to and I want to be the one who protects her. I want her to feel value and loved. And honestly, I don't know what that says about me, because I've never felt that way before. I've never felt that way about anyone before. I never had the time to do something else other than what was required for me. So this whole thing with Eufy, is refreshing. And I crave it as much as I want her to.
I'll admit I'm fucked up, everyone has their demons and so do I. But as I look at her and she stares right back at me, I know I've never felt so attracted to anyone before. And fuck, I like it.
"--- a little less conversation and a little more touch my body, cause I'm so into you, into you, into you" she sings the last note of the song and I could swear the whole club was entranced by her. She gets off the stage and bounces to me happily. Guess even when I told her not to have those hash brownies, she still did. I love a woman who's fierce. That's for sure, but she's pregnant, and I don't know what effect drugs has on a pregnancy.
"How did I do?" She asks when she gets to me, stumbling a little. I wrap my arms around her waist to keep her steady.
"You did great" I say and she giggles. The sound putting a smile on my face.
"I could bet you're jealous of my singing skills" she answers and I shake my head
If that's what you want to believe
"Let's get you out of here" I say and drag her out of the club. She giggles the whole way and I'm wondering what the hell is funny.
"Don't bite your lip Eufy-Loviette" I say and clear my throat.
"Why?"
"Because I don't want to be forced to kiss you" I say strictly after I've secured her in the front seat of my car. I'm about to turn around to the driver's side door but she clutches my wrist
"Don't you dare kiss me while I'm not sober" she giggles again, pointing a finger at me.
"Why?" I repeat the question she asked me, not knowing why she would say something like that, and what her reason would be for it.
"Because when you kiss me, I want to remember it. I want you to push me up against the wall, hold my hands above my head and kiss me like you mean it. I want you to kiss me like I'm the reason the sun rises and the reason it sets. I want you to kiss me, not only with an open mouth, but with an open heart. Now it'll be a shame if you kissed me like that and I wouldn't remember right?" She winks, laughing.
If not for today, I didn't know a woman can make a man turn 360° from normal to motherfucking horny.
"Fuck Eufy"
"Not so soon pretty boy." She says with a wink and bursts out laughing "You should have seen your- your face" she says in between laughs "Don't worry, I'm just kidding. That has always been one of my fantasies, funny but still"
Oh how much I want to fulfill those fantasies of yours.
"Let's go home. I need a shower"

After dropping Eufy home and tucking her in like the five year old she is, I head to my apartment. Which is directly opposite hers. Funny. Sometimes I wonder if it's fate, if it's fate that brought her directly to me. Next door. If it's fate that brought her so close to me. I sigh and insert my key, but before I'm able to twist the door handle, I receive a call.
"Hello there Alex. Miss me? Nice lady you hanging out with."
"What the fuck do you want?" I ask, knowing the person on the line. Fuck, I thought I was done with them
"We want our money. And then we'll leave you alone. If not..."
"If not what?" I challenge
"It'll be a shame if something bad happened to your lady friend" he says and hangs up
Well fuck!
