We only had one day of fun though because the Seven Deadly Sins started acting up again. Tony sent me to pick up Peter because we were short on hands.

"Won't it disturb his studies?" I teased.

"Don't even bring that up; an attack at this scale, once he hears about it he'll just run off by himself. It's better to just let him come with the team so he won't fight on the wrong side or something," he grumbled.

I covered my mouth in mock surprise.

"What?"

"You're worried."

"Just go pick him up!" He shouted, throwing me his keys. I reluctantly accepted. It was a shame I couldn't ride my motorcycle instead.

Tony's cars were way too flashy so I choose the most inconspicuous one. But I wasn't prepared for just how loud it was going to be. Ahh, forgive me, Peter. I embarrassed him enough yesterday. But it's okay, he can handle a little more right?

I drove up to school scanning the faces for Peter, and at the same time receiving a lot of curious glances and whispers.

"Peter!" I shouted when I finally saw him.

"What are you doing?" He asked as he ran up to the car.

"I'm here to pick you up, get in."

He noticed it was one of Tony's cars so he hopped in. "Ned, can you tell the teachers that something came up?"

"Sure thing," he nodded knowingly.

"Sweet ride," MJ commented.

"We're off, enjoy your day at school," I laughed as I pressed the accelerator.

Once we were far enough, Peter asked, "so where are we going?"

"To fight something," I answered.

"Couldn't you have toned it down a bit?" He complained.

"I tried! You know I picked the most lowkey car!"

"Yes, but..."

"But what?"

"It's black!" He said exasperatedly.

"So?" I asked. "Doesn't that blend in?"

"Not if you're also wearing all black!"

"Oh," I said, looking down. Tony basically pushed me out the door so I just left in what I had on. I always dressed casually, but my wardrobe had turned dark, the effect of just making do with the SHIELD clothes.

"Did I look too cool?" I laughed.

"Just drive," he sighed.

It didn't take much longer to hear the sounds of destruction.

"Do you have your suit?" I asked.

"Yea," Peter answered, digging it out of his backpack.

"How do you put it on?" I looked at him weirdly.

"Ah- uh- I just find an alley to change or I sometimes already have it on under my clothes," he stuttered.

"Okay... so should we just meet up there?" I pointed to the building that was being knocked over. There was bound to be some trouble there. I parked the car to the side of the road that was destroyed ahead. "Okay," Peter said. He really did run off in an alleyway.

"Hope you don't miss your car Stark," I muttered as I left it and ran towards the screams.

Thankfully, I remembered to grab my old mask so I slid it on to not attract any unwanted attention. I do realize that a guy dressed in all black with a mask on will attract attention, but at least they won't know who I am right?
