"Answer me, I can tell you are not fully mortal," he said angrily, not getting the answer he wanted.

I didn't know how he could even notice what Thor couldn't even with his powers suppressed, but if I didn't want to exposed already, I needed to think of an explanation and fast.

I had to fight the snicker creeping up on my lips when I had the best idea maybe ever.

"Sorry Mr. Laufeyson," I conceded.

He looked confused.

"I'm not mortal because I'm not human"

"go on"

"Tony made me"

His eyebrows arched up.

"I'm his assistant. A humanoid AI if you will," I made up, not really lying about the assistant part.

He looked hesitant but since my room was on the same floor as Tony's and had already made JARVIS it wasn't too far of a reach right?

It actually was but Loki didn't know enough about the limits of Midgardian technology to question it too much.

There is obviously no clear timeline and I'm mostly just using Marvel characters and the plot of the first Avengers movie, but this is before Vision. And after BOO for Percy.

Looks like my story worked because Loki was starting to look intrigued.

"So pray tell, what has Tony told you of me?"

"Oh he made have made me, but I am perfectly capable of accessing and making my own judgments," I answered.

"Do tell," he looked like he was teasing me, which peeved me.

"That's for me to know and you to wonder," I replied.

He obviously thought all my thoughts were coded by Tony or something, which made me rethink my decision.

Finally being able to return to my painting, I picked a smaller detail brush to add the finishing touches. This was my favorite part, adding the foam that appeared at the tip of waves and where the water met the land.

"It's good," Loki commented, which surprised me.

"really?"

"Yes," he sneered. "Contrary to what the 'Avengers' believe, compliments are in my vocabulary."

"That's not what I meant but thank you," I replied.

Loki started to sound more like that theory the campers cooked up. He sounded awfully self-conscious about what the avengers thought of him.

"Come talk to me more then," I offered.

He raised his eyebrows once again.

"I'm awfully lonely because Tony has cooped me up here all alone"

Which wasn't that far off from the truth, considering how little work he does and just pushes to me and Pepper.

"We'll see," he said as he left.

Well, that was interesting huh. I stepped back to admire my painting, and Loki was right. It was pretty good. I gave myself a pat on the back.

Looking at the beach, I missed the cabin in Montauk. Maybe I should take a short vacation there when I get the chance. Take Annabeth or Mom maybe.

I looked at my watch that Tyson gave me and realized it was time to go.

~ at Percy and Annabeth's home ~

"Hey, I'm back!" I shouted so wherever Annabeth was she would know I returned.

"Welcome back Seaweed Brain I'm in the study!" I heard from my right.

I set my bags down and flung my shoes off to run to my wife.

I gave her a hug from behind and took a look at what she was doing.

"More architecture for Olympus?" I asked.

"yup"

"Mom's giving me full reins on the project so I have to make sure it's really good"

"Whatever you design will be beautiful, Wise Girl"

(Ok I know that's what he calls her that but that will probably be the last time because it's just so cringey I can't anymore)

I went to the kitchen to start on my mom's famous blue cookies. I made them already at the start of the month but they were gone in a day when Nico and Will visited.

Since Nico was the only one who could really travel easily, he often came to update us on the Greek world and such.

The Gods were doing fine, the camps were doing fine.

I might start visiting the 7 more once I test out my vapor traveling more.

I kind of shied away from my powers after the pit because with no monsters after me there was no reason to fight anymore.

That's why I loved my job too, no need to use my powers.

I know there was a bigger reason why, but the previous few were good enough to assure me that I didn't need to use my powers anymore.
