"You better have a good explanation for this Thor!" Clint challenged.
"Relax, relax it came straight from the Allfather. Loki needs to learn the errors of his ways and we need to teach him to value Midgard. Most of his powers will be restricted, save for the bare minimum to protect himself."
"You really think that God would live with us 'puny mortals'?" Tony questioned as he rolled his eyes.
"We must teach him that must we not?" Thor replied.
"Stark your tower your choice," Natasha said as she left and headed back to her room.
"Just tell me what you chose and If you agree I'll arrange a room for him," I said.
"Cell," Clint added.
"sure"
"Fine, fine, we'll do it, it's not like anything else is happening," Tony complied.
"Perfect, we will return within a week," Thor happily replied.
Seeing as everything was solved, I also left to figure out where to place Loki. There was a 95% guarantee that Tony would just forget about him later or just not care enough to prepare something.
I planned to place him next to Thor, if he still believed in him then maybe they could fix whatever brotherly problem they had going on.
Obviously, Clint was still mad at the God and Banner, the one who could take care of him physically, probably wouldn't be able to keep up with him mentally. And I don't think he would appreciate becoming green every day.
I headed to my room that was on the same floor as Tony's but on the opposite side to finish my preparations.
~ a few days later ~
While I was working on some paperwork in my room, Tony peeked his head in.
"Hey, if you wanted to know Loki's back and near Thor like you arranged, you might want to avoid that area for now."
"Ok sure thanks Boss," I said dismissing him.
Thor's floor was just under Tony's but there shouldn't be a reason for me to visit there so I just pushed it into the back of my mind.
~ a week later ~
After finally catching up with all my paperwork, I headed down to catch up with Tony on any other things.
I saw all the other Avengers in the kitchen, but since I don't talk to them that much I just headed towards Tony making some coffee in the corner.
"Hey, I just sent you all the paperwork, all I'm missing is your signature"
"Sure, sure," he replied.
"I'll remind you tomorrow again then," I said sighing because I knew I would have to drag him to his desk if I wanted him to do any paperwork.
He just flashed me a smile but I could tell it was forced.
"What's wrong?" I asked, while finally noticing the tense atmosphere in the room as some eyes turned towards me.
"Nothing."
"You can tell me"
He sighed. "We think we might need to ease up on Loki's watch for a while because Thor won't agree to just locking him up in a cell, but we don't have enough time for someone to always keep watch on him."
"Oh," I said, not really knowing how I could help with that.
"Maybe you could contact Fury and ask him to send some SHIELD agents over."
"I don't think they can handle him with even his powers suppressed."
Cap chimed in, "Why don't we just return to our original idea?"
"I think it would work, as long as he stays in the tower, at least one of us will be near enough to reach him if things go south," Natasha added.
I left for my room because it sounded like the Avengers had things under control and I got what I came there for.
Interesting. I guess they decided on increasing Loki's 'house arrest' from his room and some places with Thor's watch with just the whole tower.
I'm guessing he'll just be under JARVIS's watch now.
So now I have a lot of free time and not much to do.
I decided to get out my canvas since I haven't painted in so long. What else could I paint besides the sea?
Sometimes Tony's massive pool just wasn't enough to calm me like the sea would.
As I was immersed in my painting, I noticed someone enter my room. My best guess was Loki, our resident prisoner.
I wondered how he wandered to my room of all places but not wanting to lose my concentration and inspiration, I ignored him and kept painting.
After a minute of comfortable silence, Loki interrupted, "So who are you, some new avenger they didn't care to introduce?"
I answered, ignoring the evident mocking in his voice.
"Oh no, far from it actually"
"Then who are you, I haven't seen you around before"
"Percy"
He just glared at me.
