Thank. the. Gods. I didn't move because Steve caught the knife for me.

Good ole' dependable Captain America.

I'm guessing normal kids wouldn't have been able to catch the knife. So I didn't. Because that's what I am right now. A normal person who is just an assistant. Duh.

I saw Natasha huff at her failed attempt at a test I guess?

"What were you thinking!?" Steve shouted. "Throwing knives at kids?"

"Well it was only one knife," Natasha quipped.

"Haa!" Tony let out a tiny laugh when he heard Natasha. "Oh sorry 'bout that kid," Tony said when he noticed he basically laughed at me almost dying or getting seriously injured.

"It's fine just a little shaken up," I replied, telling the truth because part of me was yelling at myself to catch that knife flying towards my face. And I was just about to and reveal more than I'd want. "Thanks Steve", I said feeling grateful again.

"No problem kid," Steve said.

I decided to let that one pass.

We left for Stark Towers, and it seemed like everyone else was coming along. Except Thor was in Asgard of course. I don't know how I feel about potentially being in the same proximity as a God but that's a problem for the future.

I mean I don't even know if he would count as a God by Greek standards because his power is a far cry from Zeus's. Although he and Jason may have fun bashing it out. So maybe the mortals are right and he is an alien.

As for Loki, I don't know how I felt about the whole ordeal with the trickster god. I mean what is the deal with people trying to constantly take over the world?

Thank goodness Mom and Paul were fine because Annabeth and I were MIA during all of that.

But Annabeth and a couple of other Athena kids proposed an idea that he was actually being controlled too so maybe he deserves another chance.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Bruce asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

I was surprised at the scientist for initiating the conversation but I answered anyway.

"Just thinking about Loki," I answered truthfully.

I caught a wince from Clint and felt pretty bad. Seems like he was still a little torn up about being controlled.

Everyone's eyes turned towards me and I subconsciously reached for riptide.

"Elaborate please," Tony said confused.

As I fished out riptide and started to twirl it through my fingers, I thought about what to say without angering anyone.

"Well... what if he isn't like what he seemed?"

Clint scoffed.

There were a couple of disbelieved huffs and Tony rolled his eyes.

"I mean I know this is a little out of the blue, but it isn't completely unreasonable," I said.

"We can talk more once we reach the tower," Cap proposed.

Once we got back, surprisingly Thor was waiting for us.

"Perfect," Clint said dragging in Thor.

"We have something to discuss about your brother," I said.

"How do you even know anything about Loki?" Thor asked curiously, but he seemed kind of glad someone else also believed in his brother.

"Tony's files," I smirked.

Tony just chucked.

I was just happy he didn't get mad and go off on a rant about an invasion of privacy.

"I'm glad the Midgardian brought it up, I actually came here for a proposal for everyone," Thor said his voice booming.

"So Thor what do you have for us," Cap said.

"The Allfather proposed a plan for Loki."

Clint looked suspicious. I was too.

Thor went on, "We could house Loki and see if he is different like the son of Jack said".

Woah woah when did I get so involved with this? Also, creative naming I didn't even notice that before.

There was an uproar.

"Back to Earth?"

"How in the world is that a good idea"

"Why?"

And Clint's wonderful answer was, "NO!"

"Hold on," I said.

"Let me explain," Thor said.
