"Oh no a guard?" I asked worried.

"Shut up," he growled.

"AHAHAH", I belted out in laughter.

The door opened and it wasn't the girl like I was expecting, instead it was a muscular guy. "Woah, woah, bring back that girl, you look too scary." What? It was true. His muscle ratio didn't match at all and I wasn't sure if he thought he looked good or if he pulled that short straw in the gene pool. His eyebrows furled and his mouth drew back into a snarl, and let's just say that didn't help his case.

"Let's see if you can still joke around after his," Myers said. Oh? What was he planning now?

"Hold him down"

I let the ugly dude hold down my wrists, honestly eager to see what his plan was. Myers approached me with a metal helmet and I got an ugly idea of what was going to happen.

"Oh not a chance," I said trying to escape, just when Myers noticed and lunged at me, popping the helmet over my head.

You should have a good idea of what happens next. I got some nice flashback of my worst memories. And those were very, very, ugly. Uglier than the guy that was currently pressing on my wrists.

Myers pulled the helmet off of my head, "So? Still feel like arguing with me?"

"You Fucker."

He flinched away from my glare and the guard tightened his grip of my wrists in hope to immobilize me, but that was just false hope. I yanked my hands back and jabbed the guard in his eyes. He fell to the ground immediately and Myers realized he was now in danger. he scrambled to his intercom, desperately calling for help.

"Call the guards here! Now!" he yelled into the speaker.

I walked into the hallway ready to greet the new arrivals, leaving behind two lifeless bodies.

Soon the hallway was filled with bodies and the walls were covered in blood. Well wasn't this a hassle? I decided I was ready to get out, but I still didn't have anything to show for it so I snagged a keycard from a guard and explored the compound. Fighting Myer's minions along the way, I got to a large room with computers and choose to stop there.

I grabbed a random flash drive off the desk and plugged it into the computer. It took a couple minutes to download all the files but I finished right before red lights went off. I could guess what was going to happen so I legged it out of there to see the mountain blow up.

"Boom," I muttered.

I turned away to make my hike to the shore, the only direction I knew to go to.

I stole a car once I got out of the forest that their compound was in. Sadly the owner didn't leave their phone in it but one trip to the store solved that problem. No I didn't have any money. I knew SHIELD's number so I just called them.

"How can I help you?" a receptionist's voice answered.

"Put Fury on the line," I growled.

She only hung up, thinking it was another angry citizen, wanting to complain about how their yard was burnt by one of the Avengers in hope of compensation. Now I only had one more choice. I sighed and reluctantly plugged in Maria's number.

"What the hell am I doing here."

"I'm taking it that you found out you are in the US now?"

"Oh you got me! Guess I'll just destroy this lovely information I got."

"I know your bluffing, didn't you really just bust out right when you found out where you were?"

"No."

"There's no way you could get important info that fast."

"It wasn't from an interrogation if that was what you were inferring."

"What else would it be from? Which way did you get it? Torture or trickery?"

"A fucking flash drive now get me back."

"Sorry, you know I can't do that."

"I'll go MIA, with this flash drive."

I heard a sigh over the other end of the line. "Please Percy, we really need your help over there, the branches are getting out of hand and that information is crucial in bright them to justice."

"Bring them to justice? Please stop joking. You all put yourself on a pedestal like you don't just squash anyone who opposes you."

"And don't you work with us?" Maria still answered unfazed.

"Only because I have nothing better to do."

"Well then you might not be pleased that we discovered. Myers, the scientist who was traveling with you was their lead scientist in producing mutant serums. They will hunt you down now."

"Let them come. He's dead now."

"Really?" She asked exasperatedly. "We needed information he could have given us."

"Too bad. Now where can I go?"

"We have a SHIELD base in New-"

"Nope. Pick somewhere else."

"Could you please go?" Hill finally succeeded in pulling my heartstrings because I knew how much saying that must have took.

"Fine, but ship my mask over."

"Thank you. Really," she said relived.

I hung up the phone and sat back in my seat. Seriously, what did I just get myself into?
