"Hey, I'm here to fix the roof" he said. "Yeah, it's been leaking for a long time now- oh, umm. Hi" I said as I finally turn around to see him.
My rooms' roof had been leaking for the past hour and a - if you don't mind me saying - super hot guy came to fix it. Before he came I tried to fix it myself because I am a very impatient person.
I space out for a few second, looking at him.
"Hi uh- sorry, I usually get the other guy to come here and fix it. Your new?" I ask. "Umm no, I think Max - the guy that comes here - is sick, so I'm in charge" he said. Am I glad that Max is sick. Well, not in that way. I still feel bad for him. But you know...
"So umm, my roof's been leaking a lot now. And there's starting to be mold, I don't really know where the problem is" I said. He nodded listening to every word I said.
"Okay, just give me a few moments. I'll have it fixed in no time" he said. I nodded and went out to watch TV. After a few minutes bhe was done.
"Wow, that was fast" I said, "It was nothing. But I'm sure your roof won't be leaking anymore" he said. "Thank you so much. How much do I have to pay you?" I said, grabbing my wallet. He stopped me,
"No, it's on the house" "Oh come on, there must be some way I can repay you" I said. "How about a date? Just at the Dingo near by?"
Wow did the hot guy I was admiring asked me out on a date? I don't even know his name!
"Oh umm, sure" I said. "I'm Darrel. But you can call me Darry" he said. "Okay Darry. I'm Y/n" "So you live here alone?" He asked "No I have a roommate. She's out working" I said.
"Ahh, okay. Well then, I'll see you tomorrow at 2? I'll pick you up" He asks. "Umm okay, sounds great. See ya" I said. He left and I felt like I was in a movie.
That was the only date we've been on. We were planning to go on a second date until - a guy I thought I had gotten over - asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes and completely forgot about Darry.
