SHERRY AND JAMES had not yet crossed each others paths after the events of the Quidditch Tryouts and she couldn't have been more at peace. So she may have been called to Professor Flitwick's office and given another detention but seeing Potter give up on his laughing and jeering after she had kicked a Quaffle in his face was worth the price. Amber argued how she needed to stop being so irresponsible with the detentions and stuff because of the house points but when the two girls were passing the glasses, Ravenclaw was in the lead by 5.

"How we can be in the lead when you've got as many detentions as you have, I don't know." Amber was saying as their group walked to breakfast the morning after Tryouts. "Honestly, Sher, you might need to tone it down soon enough."

"Oh, please." Sherry scoffed, waving her comment off disinterestedly. "The more detentions I can get, I will. I'm looking for any excuse to be kicked out of this school."

"Still," Amber continued and Oliver rolled his eyes from next to her. "I have a feeling if Dumbledore figures out what you're trying to do he'll just make you stay."

"So I'll change my plan to getting kicked out of the country." She shrugged, hiking her bag further up her shoulder. "There are lots of different laws I could break when it comes to getting banned from a country."

"Name one-" Louis started to say but she cut him off before he could.

"Mass arson." She grinned to herself and he looked more than concerned as he raised her eyebrows at her. "What? I just leave a couple of clues and then get arrested by the no-maj police. Since I'm an American citizen then I'll probably have to go back there instead."

"No-maj?" Amber tilted her head to the side, her lips pursing in confusion as they turned a corner to walk towards the Great Hall. "What is that?"

"I think you guys call it a nuggle." She shrugged her shoulders, walking into the hall quickly past the threshold so she wouldn't get anything dumped on her again. Looking up, she was glad to say that there was no bucket of anything that could be dropped on her.

"Muggle." Oliver corrected as the four of them stared to walk over to the Ravenclaw table. "No-maj makes more sense though, don't you think? Like...no magic, no-maj."

"Right?" Sherry agreed as she slid into the seat next to him, Amber and Louis taking their places opposite the two of them.

The four of them helped themselves to their breakfast. Amber filled a bowl of porridge for herself, sprinkling some sugar over the top and adding some strawberries which she then was very enthusiastic about and was nudging Oliver to get him to look. He did so after he had piled his own plate up with bacon, a small pile of scrambled eggs to the side and then more bacon. Louis only poured himself a bowl of Cheerios and Sherry was still grumpy over the fact there was no Lucky Charms.
