"WELCOME TO HOGWARTS' FIRST QUIDDITCH GAME OF THE SEASON!" The eccentric voice that Louis had said belonged to a boy named Harrison Jordan flooded Sherry's ears as she stood jittery behind the closed double doors in front of her. She was decked in her dark blue Quidditch robes, her Quidditch gloves on her hands and her bright blonde hair pulled back into a tight ponytail at the back of her head with her goggles resting on the top of it for the time being.

Louis was stood by her side, the two of them at the front of their team since they were Keeper and Seeker, he had his goggles resting on his head too as they were waiting until they were in position to put them on. The three Chasers were behind them on one line and Amber and Oliver took up the rear as they waited for the door in front of them to open and let them out onto the pitch.

"Nervous?" Louis looked over at Sherry as she took a deep breath and stared at the oak doors in front of her. She looked at him and gave a little, excited grin.

"Pre-match jitters." She reassured, grinning more widely as she heard the Slytherin team being introduced to the crowd, some of them booed and some of them cheered for the house of the snake. "I get them every time, it's just so exciting."

He laughed but didn't say anything more as Harrison Jordan spoke again, this time addressing the Ravenclaws team. "...PLAYING AGAINST THE RAVENCLAWS!" The team heard before the doors in front of Louis and Sherry opened, the team mounted their brooms and flew out onto the pitch, being greeted with loud cheers and boos from the Slytherins.

Sherry looked around joyfully, there was nothing like applause to boost your confidence. The weather didn't seem that bad, a bit cold but she'd be flying back and forth anyway and kicking her hands and feet out to block all the balls anyway. The large sea of blue and black compared to the small portion of green and silver made her grin grow wider as she looked around for any familiar faces. The boy she had beat in try outs was down there and although cheering, didn't look too excited for them.

She found Remus; he was wearing a Ravenclaw blue knitted sweater and was clapping his hands for the team. Potter looked grump stood next to him, dressed in neither green or blue but instead just a flicker of red in surrounding blue. Sirius and Peter were also both wearing blue and were clapping loudly for the team, Peter patting Potter on the back slightly as he glared up in the air. Marlene was stood near them; she was overloaded in blue, yelling loudly.

"Go, Sherry!" She screamed and Sherry laughed down at her, waving slightly as she flew over to the goal posts she was meant to be stationed at.

She then surveyed the rest of the pitch, the Slytherin Keeper was too far away for her to see but she could see the Seeker and a couple of Chasers. The Seeker looked alarmingly like Sirius, so much that she though he had a twin brother but he had some differences the more Sherry squinted, they were probably brothers. At her squinted gaze, he turned his head too and then nearly toppled sideways off of his broom when they met eyes but quickly recomposed himself and looked away.
