THE SUN WAS RISEN HIGH UP IN THE SKY ABOVE HOGSMEADE VILLAGE, the light shining down on the small groups of students who trudged through puddles on the floor with their rubber boots or 'wellies' as the British population called them. Despite the bright sun that was very clearly up and shining, the weather itself was cold, wet and downright horrid. Sherry Opal was not happy to endure the cold temperatures, she was already covered up by her coat but that wasn't meant to keep her warm, it was merely an accessory.

Yet now she was happy she had decided to wear the coat and not just suited for her long-sleeved turtleneck as she shivered under Oliver's coat. He had leant it to her when her teeth started to chatter loudly and she was visibly shaking from the cold. She just didn't understand, if it was sunny then why wasn't it hot? It's simple science.

Sherry had also stepped ankle-deep into a puddle and gasped as her body lost its balance but gasped again when she saw that her foot had been plunged into a pool of water. Amber just walked straight through it, her rubber boots protecting the bottom of her  jeans from being drenched. Luckily, it wasn't jeans Sherry was wearing so it didn't shrink to her skin and stick there. Her tights however got a bit wet but she was told she couldn't just take them off in the middle of the street.

"Are you sure this country isn't an alternate universe of some sort?" She asked through chattering teeth and pulled Oliver's coat more tightly around her. "Because I feel as though I've been transported through a wormhole to a different dimension where the sun isn't hot. Maybe that's why I'm not getting my moms letters."

Oliver laughed at her, shaking his head. Amber rolled her eyes playfully as she walked carelessly through another small puddle, Sherry making sure to avoid it as she passed. They had only just gotten into the actual village about five minutes ago since the walk from the school to here was quite long, straight away Sherry could tell it was very different from the way that American Wizarding Villages looked. The village in Massachusetts where the Ilvermorny students went on their days out, was much more lively than Hogsmeade and much more colourful too.

"I can assure you that this isn't an alternate universe." Louis chuckled, looking over at her amusedly as she glared at the sky, feeling a wet drop on her hair. "After all, how would you have got in if this was a 'different dimension'?"

"My mom's British, she went to this place." Sherry shrugged her shoulders. "No-Maj born, Gryffindor, Quidditch Captain, blondie, bad bitch." She listed, holding up a finger for each thing she listed.

"Wait, if your mums British then why did you live in America?" Amber asked, turning around and walking backwards slowly as she faced Sherry.

"She was on an Auror mission and my parents met when she had to get something from the Magical Congress, fell in love, mom moved to America and transferred to the Congress, had me, dad left when I was 5, mom stayed." She said, frowning slightly at the mention of her father who was also a No-Maj born.
