Jess’ POV
It took us right into late afternoon to get everything done and put into place, especially since Cameron was only capable of certain things due to his injuries.
“Finally done” Nash said, throwing himself into an armchair. “You guys brought so much stuff”
“Uh excuse me, a girl needs what a girl needs” Drew said hitting him with a cushion.
We were all sitting in the ‘cinema room’ as the guys liked to call it, flicking through the choice of movies available.
The room was actually pretty cool. It reminded me of the set up me and Mahogany had back in our hotel room during Magcon for movie night.
We had loads of huge cushions and armchairs all facing the huge TV on the wall, with a popcorn and soda machine in the corner. It was pretty awesome.
“When are the guys getting here? They’re taking forever!” Cameron said, reaching into his pocket for his phone. We invited everyone over for a movie to celebrate…everything I guess. Me and Cameron’s recovery since we were both in hospital, mine and Drew’s moving in celebration and just genuine happiness and friendship.
“I hear a knock!” Nash said as him and Drew got up to let everyone in.
I watched as they both left the room, rushing to see who would get to the door first.
“I’m so glad to be home” I said, laying back on the cushions.
Cameron smiled and positioned himself hovering over me.
“I’m just glad you’re here with me” he said.
He leaned down over me, I wrapped my hands around his neck, gesturing him to come closer.
Inches away and the door opened. I have never seen Cameron move so fast in his life.
Nash thankfully being the first one in obviously noticed what happened. Instead he subtly wiggled his eyebrows.
“JESS! CAMERON!” everyone shouted as they walked in. They all ran towards us and piled on top of each other. Even though we had only seen each other practically a couple of days ago, everyone was just so happy to see us happy and NOT IN HOSPITAL.
It took us a few minutes to settle in and get comfy as everyone picked their spots, get their popcorn and decide on a movie that we all liked.
Another knock sounded on the door as it opened.
“Don’t mind us, we’re just a little late” Dillon said as he walked in with Sammy walking in behind.
“Guys omg I’ve missed you so much!” I said jumping up and throwing my arms around them.
“We’ve missed you too! How you holding up?” Dillon asked.
“I’m doing great! Especially since everything is back to normal” I said laughing at how unlucky I tended to be.
“Come on” I said, taking them by wrists and leading them to the cushions.
“Alright” Nash said, beginning to flick through the choices. “Tarzan?”
Nope.
Frozen?
“YES” Matt shouted out. Everyone turned around giving him the weirdest looks.
“You know what, never mind” he said.
I laughed, he is literally the funniest person ever.
“Game plan?”
Nope.
“I’m running out of movies here” Nash exclaimed.
“Dude, we’ve only been through like 4 movies” Cameron laughed.
“I know I just can’t be bothered to go through anymore” he said smirking. “What about white house down?”
“Yes!” we all agreed at once.
“Finally” he laughed. He put the movie into the DVR and walked back to his armchair with Drew sitting on his lap cuddling.
Cameron brought his arm around me, moving me closer to him.
I snuggled into his side. I looked around at everyone staring intensely at the screen and smiled.
I love these people so much and I wouldn’t change a thing.
