Jess POV
“487…488..489! That’s us!” I said swipping the card of me and Mahogany’s room. We all planned to go to the beach since it was like 1000 degrees out. Okay, I’m exaggerating but still, it was hot.
“OMG I bought this super cute bikini yesterday!” Mahogany said, throwing down her suitcase and pulling out a white bikini with watermelons on them. It totally suited Mahogany.
“OMG that’s so cute!! Where did you get that?” I ask, unzipping my own suitcase and pulling out my own.
“Forever 21! Wow gurl that’s beautiful, where did you get that?” she says clearly intrigued.
“My cousin brought back from Paris last month”
“Well next time, tell her to get one for me!” She says winking, walking into the bathroom.
I lay on the bed scroll through twitter as I wait for Mahogany to finish up before it’s my turn.
“Jess hurry up, I wanna go to the beach” Mahogany said knocking the bathroom door, whining like a child.
“Okay okay I’m done, let’s go!” I say, as I throw a white crop top over my head and my white denim shorts and grab my beach bag.

“Man I’ve missed the beach!” Jack G said, throwing off his shirt exposing his perfectly toned abs and running towards the water, with everyone following behind except me, Cam and Nash.
I set my beach towel down next to Mahogany’s and Jacobs and take off my clothes leaving me in my pink bikini and black raybans. I catch cam’s head in my direction. I know he’s looking at me even though he has shades on too.
“What?” I chuckle, as he looks away quickly.
“Uh nothing…”
I laugh and lay down on my towel and sunbathe until wet drips splat over my stomach and face. I open my eyes and see Carter standing over me.
“Carter what are you-“
But before I could finish he lifts me up and throws me over his shoulder as he runs towards the water.
“CARTER NO STOP!”
“You sound like my mom” He says laughing, as he gets to the water.
“Carter don’t you-“
He throws me into the water and before you know it, it turns into a huge water fight, as everyone else joins in.
Cameron POV
I watched as Carter and Jess splashed and laughed in the water, Carter throwing her in…that should be me.
Me and Jess dated like 2 years ago but we broke up because I was touring a lot and lived in California whereas she lives in Nebraska. The distance was too much for her, and I didn’t want her to feel upset about the fact I wasn’t around a lot of the time, plus we all know she had a bad past so I didn’t want to put her through more than she could handle.
“Dude I’m going to join in, you coming?” Nash says, jumping up.
“Nah, I think I’ll chill here for a bit”
“Okay, see ya in a bit!”
I closed my eyes and thought everything through.
Urgh I needed to find a way to get Jess away from Carter. I know we dated but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a second shot at her right?
