Chapter 4: Reunited

Jack J POV

I couldn’t stop thinking about Anna. She was so beautiful, just everything about her made me feel butterflies. Her long brown hair, her bold eyes…

“Jack? Hellooooo Jack?” my sister said, waving her hand in front of my face.

“Huh what?”

“I said we are landing soon.” She said smirking.

“Okay……what?!” I say, as she continues to smirk at me. I blush, she clearly knows.

I look over at Jack, his brows furrowed in concentration playing Let It Goat. I have to say, it was very addicting!

When the plane had come to a stop we got up and walked off towards luggage claim. Me and Jack tried looking out for Anna and Inbar but we didn’t see them. They must have left before us. I didn’t want to seem to desperate since I’ve known her for about 3 hours and she’s known me for probably years but I really liked her. There was this crazy part of me that was telling me she was the one…

“I got a text from Taylor saying that him and the guys are waiting for us in the waiting room near the exit” Jack said, replying to the text.

I saw Jess rub her arm nervously in the corner of my eye.

“Jess are you okay?”

“Oh uh…yeah uh, I’m fine…” She said, avoiding eye contact with me.

“Jess…?”

“Urgh okay, I’m just kind of nervous to see everyone again. It’s been so long.” She said sighing.

“I know and that’s why everyone is excited to see you again! Your one of the family! Even Mahogany thought it was weird without her best friend there!” Jack G said, gently punching her shoulder.

She laughed and gave a reassuring smile. “Yeah I guess so”

Jess POV

I didn’t know why I felt so nervous about seeing them all again. I mean it’s been months since the last event which I joined them but they are all family to me. Mahogany is my best friend. They know all about my past and nightmares but that’s only because I trust them. I haven’t told anyone else…I don’t want anyone else knowing at all. Nothing was awkward between any of us.

We got our luggage and then followed the signs to the waiting room right around the corner. I took a deep breath, here we go. I walked in between Jack and Jack as we headed in their direction. I could start to make out the people messing around, smacking each other from behind, taking selfies and rolling around on the floor laughing. Typical boys.

“Guys they’re here!” Nash said running towards us.

Nash engulfed us in a hug and soon everyone else joined. It turned into a huge group hug. I was pressed up against the torso of Hayes. He was so tall for his age and I’m older than him!!

I laughed as he looked down at me. “Hey Hayes, how ya doing?”

“Oh I’m great, be even better if Matt could remove his armpit from my face!”

Matt laughed and waved it around his face. “You know you love it dude”

I laughed so hard I fell into Taylor and then hugged him.

“I’ve missed my lil’sister a lot. I wish you came to all of the events.” He whispered into my ear.

“Maybe I’ll start coming to all of them…” I said, pulling away.

“Really? YAS!” Taylor shouted, causing everyones conversations to stop. “Guys! Jess is gonna come to all the events!”

“You totally should! That would be awesome!” Cameron said, embracing me in a hug. I missed his hugs. About 2 years ago, me and Cam dated. But the long distance was too much for me to handle. Now we are best friends, and nothing has changed that.

“I’ve missed you” I said into his ear. His grasp around my body tightened.

“Um excuse me, where is my hug?” Matt says, tapping on my shoulder. I pulled away from Cam and jumped into Matt’s arms. He’s like another brother to me. He spins me around rocking me side to side playfully, as we laugh.

I greet and hug the others before I get to Mahogany. Mahogany is my best friend. But what I love most about her is the fact that even though she has millons of fans herself, she still fangirls over regular people. If we see a hot guy walking down the street, she will fangirl, even though the guy should be fanning over her.

She looks at me and smiles. Showing her perfectly straight white teeth and runs up to me. I open my arms and she jumps into them.

“JESS I’VE MISSED YOU GIRL” she screams with excitement causing everyone to turn around.

“I’VE MISSED YOU TOO!” I scream back mockingly.

I take my phone from my pocket and see a new text.

Cartahh: turn around x

I do as requested and see Carter standing behind me. He was wearing a black shirt and jeans with gold chains and a black snapback with his glasses. He looked so cute you just wanna cuddle him. I jumped into his embrace and wrapped my arms around his neck.

“I’ve been waiting for this for days” He said.

“Me too”

I take my arms from his neck as my eyes meet his. It was like for a split second, I had forgotten everything else around me. It was just me and him until Jacob, Aaron and Shawn bombard me with hugs.

“Come on let’s go!” Cam shouts over us, taking my luggage.

“Oh Cam you don’t have to do that”

“No no it’s okay” He replies, already walking out the door.

“Alright” I say, following him.
