"Feia's POV"

*tok tok tok*

"Come in!"

I heard the sound of the door opening. I turned my swivel chair to face the person who just entered my office.

"What?." I asked when I saw how she arched her eye brow.

Sa halip na sumagot ay pabagsak niyang nilapag sa mesa ko ang isang brown envelope.

Taas ang kilay ko siyang nilingon bago binalingan nang tingin ang brown envelope.

"Open it!"

Without thinking twice, I suddenly opened the envelope. The moment I opened the envelope, I know she was expecting me to be shocked, but I just make my face still and calm.

"Ano pa nga bang aasahan ko. Malamang alam mo na ang tungkol diyan."

Nawala ang paningin ko sa envelope at nalipat iyon sa kanya.

"Why? What's wrong with the papers? Hindi ba't dapat matagal mo nang alam na mangyayari to? These shares are all mine. Yeah. Kuya might have some shares also, pero sa aming dalawa lang. At hindi ka na kasali doon." I plainly looked at her, trying to hide the satisfaction that I am feeling while seeing her downfall.

"Hindi ka magtatagumpay! Sinasabi ko sa'yo. Pagsisisihan mo tong ginawa mo."

At saka siya padabog na lumabas nang opisina ko.

Sa halip na magpaapekto ay napangisi na lang ako.

Then I dialed his number.

One ring and he was able to answer it directly. Hindi halatang naghihintay nang tawag ko ah.

["Feia!"]

"Edward! Your sister has been here a while ago and you know what it means."

I heard him sigh on the other line.

"Couz, you know that you are one of my favorite cousin and their mistakes has nothing to do with you."

We still talked for almost 30 minutes via call.

I look at my wrist watch only to find out that it was already 5:30 in the afternoon.

I fixed my things and check it twice to see if I have forgotten something.

When it is all set, I went out of my office then went to my car to go home.

"Hi Mom!" My son, Nicolai greeted me then kiss my cheeks after I arrived at our mansion.

"You're late, Architect!"

I looked around and saw kuya sitting pretty in our sofa, I guess playing his favorite game again.

"Hi kuya!" I greeted instead, not minding the possibility that I might be scolded again.

"Kasum-----."

I stopped him from mentioning that name.

"How many times do I have to tell you, kuya? I am not Kasumi, anymore. Stop calling me that, besides you're the one who decided to change my name. I'm tired and I badly need to rest." I just tapped my son's shoulder then went upstairs. I quickly went to my room and prepare to shower myself.

Habang nasa shower room ako ay hinayaan kong bumalik sa alaala ko ang lahat. At bawat patak nang tubig ay siya ding pagpatak nang luha na umaagos sa aking mga mata.

Hanggang sa ang luhang yun ay tumigil at mapalitan nang panggigigil.

Pinangako ko sa sarili ko na hindi na ako yung Suming palagi na lang natatalo.

I already promised myself that everything will changed. From an old weak Sumi to a new and strong Feia. Kasama sa pagbabagong yun ang magandang buhay na ibibigay ko sa anak ko. Na inaalagaan dapat naming dalawa at hindi yung ako lang.

Yeah!

Pero nasaan siya? Andun, nagpapakasaya kasama ang walangyang babae na yun!

I clenched my fist with that thought.

Kasabay nang pagpunas ko sa aking mga luha ay ang pangako at katagang bibitawan ko bilang isang panata.

"Hinding hindi ka na nila maaapi, Feia! Hinding hindi na! Dahil wala na ang Suming kilala nila. Matagal na siyang patay at sila mismo ang pumatay doon. Simula ngayon, ikaw na si Clorofeia Glay Beniharra Meirasol Perez."
