Chapter 2: Talk to Me

YOUR P.O.V

"The garden is so pretty!" I announced, leading the pack. I immediately run to the huge fountain in the middle of the garden /greenhouse, and sat down on its edge. The fresh air was nice, and the light water droplets hitting my back from the fountain almost got rid of my worries.

I leaned my head back, and focused on the sound of the water, and the birds chirping. The others seemed to be doing their own thing, so I didn't feel particularly bad for being alone.

"Y/N."

I looked back in front of me, and there was Katsuki with two apples in his hands. He handed one to me, as he sat down next to me.

"I'm sorry for not telling you, Katsuki." I apologized, and then took a bite of the apple.

"I'm sorry. I just..." I could tell he was getting angry.

"Tell me, Katsuki."

"You tell us everything. So the fact you won't tell us this... It's..."

"Frustrating?"

"I guess. But it's also like you're keeping secrets from us." He growled.

"Katsuki, please know that is not what I'm trying to do."

"Then what is it?"

"I'm not sure myself." I sighed. "I'm very upset with my parents, as of right now. I want to calm down some before I tell you all."

He stayed quiet, looking at his apple, and then taking a bite. I also took another bite of mine.

"Kirishima!" I heard Momo yell, and then laugh. Her laughed was followed by Kyoka's. I looked back, and so did Katsuki.

Eijiro was in a rose bush. I rushed over there, with Katsuki following me. I saw some little cuts on his face from the thorns, rose petals everywhere, and a few broken branches. Eijiro has the biggest smile on his face as he was laughing.

"What happened?" I asked, trying to hold my laughter in.

"H-He, he, he.." Momo tried to say, but couldn't because of her laughing.

"I tripped." He laughed.

"Over?" I said, controlling my laughter.

"Uh. I don't know." He laughed. We all started laughing again. Well, all except Katsuki. He just huffed.

"Come on, Eijiro, we should get you fixed up." I grabbed on of his arms, and Katsuki came to help me by grabbing his other arm and pulling him out.

"Thanks you guys! But I don't need to see anyone for my little scratches. I'm all good!"

"If you say so." Kyoka shrugged.

"I'm sorry about the roses, Y/N."

"Oh don't worry about it! As long as you're okay!"

I heard Katsuki groan. We all looked at him. "What is it Bakugou? Jealous that Kirishima is getting Y/N's attention?" Momo smirked.

"No!" He automatically got defensive.

We all laughed, as we headed back to the palace.

Back at the palace, it was lunch time. We all sat at the long table, with my father at the head of the table, my mother to his right, me to his left, and Katsuki, Eijiro, Momo and Kyoka next to me. The servants came out and presented us with our food, and we all started to eat.

"Y/N, when are you going back to the village to visit the children?" Mother asked.

"Hopefully within the next week or two." I said, not looking up from my plate. I heard mom set her fork down. That made everyone look up.
