Once Upon a Time {Keigo x Reader}

44: Burn

"Keigo!! Katsuki!!" You shouted and Touya gritted his teeth.

"Be quiet dammit!"

Katsuki was there in a matter of seconds. "What the hell!? Get your hands off of her!" Just as Bakugou yelled that, Keigo arrived in on the scene. Keigo watched as he saw Bakugou push Touya away, and pulled you behind him to create the distance between the two of you. "Are you insane!? I'll have you arrested for doing such a thing!"

"God, you sound like Keigo." Touya just rolled his eyes, and Keigo came walking up to Touya.

"You need to leave, now. Go back to the kingdom, and I don't want to see you at the wedding either." When those words came out of Keigo's mouth, everyone looked shocked.

"Are you kidding?"

"Does it look like I'm kidding?"

"Keigo, that's a bit extreme don't you think?" You asked.

"I don't think it's extreme enough. Now leave!" Keigo pointed into some direction, wanting him to go back to the kingdom. He was so fed up with Touya. And hopefully by sending him away, the king would get better as well.

"I'm not fucking leaving." Touya growled, crossing his arms and glaring at Keigo.

"What the fuck did you say?" Keigo's eyes widened as he took a step forward.

"You heard me." Touya cocked his head up, and looked down at Keigo. "I'm not leaving. You'd have to kill to get me out here."

"I have the guards escort you out, Touya, if you don't leave this instant!"

"Oh that's so scary, you sound like my mother." Touya scoffed as he reached his hand out and grabbed Keigo by the neck.

"Keigo!" You shouted and reached out for him, but Bakugou made sure to keep you behind him.

"Stay behind me!" Bakugou demanded, and then turned his attention back to Touya. Touya wasn't lightening his grip, and held out his other arm to the side, where is arm was engulfed in a hot, blue flame.

"No!" You shouted and tried to get out from behind Bakugou, but he made sure you stayed behind him. He was going to protect you if it was the last thing he did.

"Stay back! Or I'll burn everything to ashes." Touya threatened. You heard Bakugou growl lowly, and saw Keigo with his hands wrapped around Touya's wrist.

"Touya, stop this." Keigo choked out. "You don't want to do this."

You watched with teary eyes. You couldn't stand to watch this scene unfold before you. All you could think of is what if Touya did decided to burn the castle down? You've never seen his power before, you don't know what he was capable of. And if his fire could spread to the city.

"Touya please... let him go." You pleaded, but Bakugou only made you stand further back.

"This is all Keigos fault! This wouldn't have happened if he had just listened to me and kept focused!"  Touya shouted, his face twisting into something that didn't look like him at all. "I hate you! I hate you!"

Touya then started to ramble on, only holding Keigo's throat tighter. You started to see Keigo struggle to breathe and you felt so helpless that you couldn't do anything. But as you were planning on what to do and how you could help, Bakugou sprung into action. He had jumped in the air, his quirk already fired up. Touya didn't even know what was going on until Bakugou's hand landed on his face and activated his quirk. Touya had went flying back, letting go of Keigo in the process. He had fallen to the floor and put his hand over his throat and started coughing. You ran and him and threw your arms around him.

Bakugou now stood in between you and Keigo, and Touya. Touya had hit the wall pretty hard, and had broken and expensive vase, but you could have cared less about that. But the sound of the vase crashing and breaking caught the attention of the guards, who you could now hear charging up the stairs. Touya had slowly gotten up and sent some blue flames towards Bakugou, but before they did you had created a force field around him. They had deflected off, and dissipated. You stood up, and set one around Keigo as well. He looked up at you and started to bang on it, it sounding like someone banging on glass.

"Don't you dare!" Keigo shouted at you. But you didn't listen to him. Touya looked at you and smirked, his fist engulfed in one of his blue flames. You weren't scared of him now, because you knew the guards were close.

"That was a dumb move, you won't have anyone to protect you now."

You had stayed silent... then you heard the guards. Just as Touya was about to lunge at you, you created a force field around him too. "Guards! Arrest him!" You shouted as you pointed to him. The guards came running passed you, as you removed the shield and they placed the special quirk cancelling hand cuffs. The guards had taken him and started to walk down to the dungeon. At some point, you would have to make arrangements to send him back to his kingdom, where the queen, Keigo's mother, would decide what to do with him. But as far as you are concerned, you don't care as long as he never returns to your kingdom.

Keigo had went to the infirmary, but he didn't have any major wounds, just a couple burn marks and bruises. Bakugou had went with him, but only stayed in the corner with his arms crossed, sulking.

"Thank you for keeping her safe." Keigo said, not looking at Bakugou.

"Yeah, well.. whatever." Bakugou raised his chin up and looked away from him. "I want the same thing you do for her. I want her to be happy and safe."

"Even if that means being with me?" Keigo now looked at him, with a small smile.

"Sure, whatever, as long as you don't take her away from me."
