Chapter 19: Homesick

3rd/2nd P.O.V

The morning came of the day you were supposed to leave. Keigo had slept in the same bed as you the night before, and refused to let you get up in the morning. But once you finally convinced him to let you get up, he made it impossible to focus on packing, and getting ready to go back home to your Kingdom.

"Please dont leave." He begged, as he helped you carry your things down the stairs, and into the entrance hall.

"You'll be coming in a week." You sighed. "You'll see me then."

"No! Thats too long!" He whined, as he placed your stuff down on the marble floor, and wrapped you into a tight hug.

"Keigo, I have to go back." You smiled gently, and petted his head. "I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize to that bird brain." You heard Dabi's voice say from the top of the staircase. You and Keigo turned, to see him walking down them.

"Shut up, you burnt piece of toast." Keigo shot at him. Dabi cocked his head up, and looked down at the both of you from half way up the stairs.

"Be nice, Keigo." You placed a hand on his shoulder.

Dabi walked down the rest of the stairs, and joined the two of you in the middle of the entrance hall. "Better listen to her, Hawks."

"I don't have to do anything, Dabi."

You looked at them both as they stared each other down. Tensions were high between them, you noticed. And it started after the night you and Dabi talked, where it was the first time he showed you any sort of kindness.

"Okay, boys. Calm down." You sighed, and face palmed.

"Dabi should know his place." Keigo announced.

"Keigo!" You scolded.

"Its alright, princess." Dabi smiled mischievously.

"Shut it." Keigo bit, his face now looking more angry.

"Both of you stop." You said firmly, putting your hands up. "You can fight when I leave."

Dabi bowed to you, and gazed up at you. "Of course, princess."

"Dabi." Keigo scolded, once again. Dabi chuckled once, and stood up straight, reaching for your bag. "What do you think your doing?"

"Putting her things in the coach, so you two can have a moment before she leaves."

"Oh. Thanks, crispy."

"Thank you, Dabi."

He nodded, walked out of the castle, carrying your stuff out.

"Don't mind him." Keigo waved off. "Hes just being stupid."

"Are you jealous?" You asked, and eyebrow raised.

"Pfft, of course not."

"You dont have to worry." You assured him, and kissed his cheek.

"I know." He sighed. "We have something special. No one could ruin it."

"Except maybe Rumi." You rolled your eyes.

"And Katsuki." Keigo stared at you.

"Except I've never been with Katsuki."
