45: Last But Not Least

It had been a couple weeks after the situation with Touya, and he was finally back on his way to his kingdom. On top of that, Keigo had took it upon himself to give up his crown for his kingdom. Of course, you thought he had some sort of influence that made him decide this, but you weren't going to complain. This meant that Keigo would stay in your kingdom, and when the time comes, you would both rule together. There would be no combination of both kingdoms, only yours.

It was finally the day of the wedding. You all were already at the venue, with only your family, your close friends, and whoever Keigo had decided to invite. He had invited Tokoyami and Shoto of course, but as he said before, Touya would not be attending, and neither was his mother.

You were in the room where you were getting ready, and you had a lot of maids all around you, doing your makeup and getting your dress all settled. Suddenly you heard a knock and in came Momo, Jirou and Sora. "Y/n, you look beautiful!" Momo exclaimed as you ran in and hugged you. Jirou was holding Sora's hand and they were all smiles.

"Thank you all." You smiled, your heart now going a thousand miles a minute. "I'm so nervous."

"Don't be, you look amazing, and everything will go fine." Jirou smiled. "And if you think you're the only one that's nervous, you're wrong. Prince Keigo looks pretty nervous as well."

"Does he really?" You asked, your voice going a tad bit higher because of the nerves. You felt a tingling feeling in your hands and it felt like your nerves were in a traffic jam. You started to feel sick, or rather the anxiety just now settling in your stomach. "You don't think he'll back out, do you?"

"Absolutely not!" Sora exclaimed. "He was telling us how happy he is with you! It's just a big day, of course he'll be nervous."

"You're right... Ah, I can't believe it's really happening!" You smiled brightly, as one of the maids put blush on your cheeks. "I'm so nervous!"

"Don't be, everything will be fine." Momo smiled softly, touching one of your shoulders.

Everything about this day was perfect, you had your dream dress on, marrying your dream guy, and soon you would have your dream life. Everything about this seemed so surreal.

"And not to mention, the boys cleaned up pretty well too." Jirou added. "Today will be perfect, Y/n. No worries!"

"Alright, you're done, Princess." The maid had said. Once she had said that you stood up, and faced the door. The girls all smiled, but then Kirishima and Bakugou came to the door, which the girls had left opened.

"Hey, are you- oh wow!" Kirishima smiled brightly. "You look amazing Y/n!" He came rushing into the room and hugged you, as Bakugou remained outside of the door.

"Thank you, Eijiro." You smiled. The both of you held the hug for a moment, until you looked at the door and saw Bakugou with his usual expression. "Katsuki, come here."

He walked into the room and Kirishima released you from the hug, and Bakugou immediately took his place. He wrapped his arms around you and had you in a tight hold. He placed his forehead on your shoulder, and you smiled softly down at him.

"Anyways, we came down here to ask how much longer. Everyone is getting just a tad bit impatient." Kirishima laughed a bit. "Especially Prince Keigo."

Bakugou let go of you, and quickly wiped away a stray tear from his face. Normally you would have teased him about it, but you decided to leave it alone today.

"Alright, you guys go, tell everyone it'll begin very shortly." Kirishima, Jirou, Momo and Sora all nodded and headed out of the room, but Bakugou stayed back.

"I'm happy you're happy." He said, sniffing a bit. It was either from crying or from just wanting to act a bit tough.

"Thank you, Katsuki. I appreciate it." You smiled.

"I'm just glad you'll be staying in the kingdom."

"I am too, Katsuki."

He gave you another hug and then quickly left the room. You took a deep breath and gathered yourself before leaving the room to meet your father, who was standing outside of the room everyone was in to watch the ceremony.

It had taken sometime for your father to recover from being poisoned by Touya, but he is now healthy and stronger than. "I told myself I wouldn't cry, but I don't think I can help it." He said in between sniffles.

"Oh hush." You laughed, and took his arm. "Are you ready?"

"I think that's a question for you, my dear."

"As ready as I'll ever be."

The doors had opened and music started to play. Everyone stood up as you and your father had entered and started to walk towards your soon to be husband, Keigo. Everyone stared at you in awe bit your eyes were only on Keigo, and his eyes were on you.

Once in the front of the building, your father took your hand and gave it to Keigo. Keigo smiled at you sweetly before kissing it gently. The officiant had the both of you stand in front of each other as he began to do his little speech about marriage and always being there for one another. After a while of the officiant talking, which you didn't really pay attention too because you were looking at Keigo, it was time for the 'vows'. You and Keigo both had to memorize them.

"I, Y/n, take you, Keigo, for my lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part." You smiled the entire time you had recited this, and felt tears threatening to fall.

"I, Keigo, take you, Y/n, for my lawful wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part." He smiled softly and quickly looked down at your lips and then back up to your eyes.

"By the power invested in me, I announced you man and wife. I think you both know what to do at this point forward." The officiant had said. Keigo didn't hesitate cupping your face and bringing you into a sweet kiss.

This was the moment that you had considered to be the ending of a chapter, and a beginning of a new story with Keigo by your side.
