You held Sora's hand walking out of the palace and into the carriage. Momo, Kyoka, Eijiro and Katsuki were with you too. Your parents couldn't make it.

Sora seemed quiet; way too quiet. But what did you expect? You all were going to her mother's funeral.

Once the carriage started it drive to the village, you reached into your bag and pulled out a black stone. "Open your hand." You said. Sora looked up at you, and opened her hand quickly. You placed the stone in her hand, and smiled.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Its a crystal called Apache tears." You smiled.

"Ive never heard of it."

"People say that if you carry it around, it gives you protection, and helps heals grief."

"Really?"

"Really." You smiled.

She looked down at the stone, and held it tightly with a small smile. She looked up at you, with a sense of determination in her face. "Thank you, Y/n."

The service had ended, and so did the burial. Not once did you see Sora cry, or have any real emotion spread across her face. Everyone else though was crying, and so were you. She was a nice woman, and cared for many people.

After everything was done, many people came up to Sora to give their condolences and apologies.

She was having none of it. You weren't sure if it was because she was having a hard time or not, but instead of breaking down, she told them not to worry.

Hiro was at the funeral too. And as much ad he wanted to spar with Katsuki, he controlled himself; For Sora's sake.

"Sora." Hiro called out. She turned around, and gave a gentle smile to him. "How are things in the palace?"

Sora was happy that he didn't ask how she was, although she knew he was asking, just in a different form. But she was glad, nonetheless.

"Its really big. Theres so many rooms, I get lost sometimes." She giggled. "You'll be coming to the ball, right, Hiro?"

Hiro was taken aback, somewhat confused why she wasn't upset. But he played along, not wanting to change her mood.

"Yeah, I'll be going." He smiled.

You looked at them and giggled to yourself. You always knew that Hiro liked Sora, no matter how much he tried to deny it. It was quite obvious by the way he treated her compared to other children he would hang around with. Sora never caught on, however. She never had the time either, always taking care of her mother. She was also too naïve, and a bit childish. But what did you expect, she was only a child, even if she was just a little bit more mature, and had more responsibilities than others.
