"What the hell?" You saw Touya's eyes advert away from you and look at the entrance to the garden. You followed his gaze to see Keigo walking towards the both of you. "What the fuck!?"

Touya let go of your waist and stood straight in front of him. "I was just checking in on her since her fiancé was no where to be found." Touya explained, which was the half truth.

"We'll I'm here, so you can leave now." Keigo didn't seem to enjoy the situation at all, which was pretty ironic.

"Where the hell were you?" You asked him, your voice raising a bit. "And where the hell did Hikari go? Did you go with her? Were you two together?"

"I was in the courtyard."

"Bullshit!" You yelled, taking a step towards him as he took a step back. "You're supposed to be getting married to me! Me! If you're just going to do this shit behind my back the wedding will be off!"

"Doing what behind your back?! Your dad pulled us out to the courtyard to let us know how everything was going to be for the announcement!"

Your eyes went wide and felt the color drain out of your face. Touya had done the same.. he thought Keigo had also cheated on you tonight.

"You really think I would cheat on you? Especially on your birthday?" His eyes softened as he cupped your cheek. "I can't believe you would think something like that."

"Well can you blame me? You have the history, and you did seem to be entertaining her." You huffed, adverting your eyes away.

"I'm sorry if it appeared that way, but I promise you it wasn't like that at all." He sighed. "Why don't you go inside and stress down a bit? We are making the announcement soon and I need to speak with Dabi."

"Alright." You smiled a bit and kissed his cheek, before hurrying out of the garden. Keigo had watched you leave with a smile on his face, but soon it had faded the second you were out of sight. He snapped his head towards Touya, obviously not pleased.

"What the hell is the matter with you, huh?" He said lowly, being careful not to raise his voice too loud so people would hear. Not like anyone could, unless there were people snooping around. "Are you trying to take her away from me?"

"That's not the issue." Touya sighed, and rolled his shoulders back, resulting in them making a popping sound.

"Then what the hell happened where you were almost kissing her, huh?"

"I'm trying to ensure that what we need is secure."

"Well, what I need right now is for you to mind your business." Keigo snapped at him, and turned around, trying to walk back inside. He had hoped Touya wouldn't argue any further than that.

"Hold on a damn minute." Touya's voice started to get a bit loud, but only to catch Keigo's attention. "This is my business. You wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for me. Me, god dammit."

"Oh, and so what? You feel like you suddenly have the right to take her from me then? Is that it? Because I know damn well you have no feelings for her, you could care less."

"And how would you know that huh? Maybe I'm the one who proposed you to her in the first place so I could be closer to her, because I knew damn well you would screw it up."

Keigo gritted his teeth and turned back around, grabbing the collar of Touya's shirt. "Shut your mouth. You don't care about Y/n at all. You only care about the money."

"And you don't?" Touya's mouth curled into a smirk, as one eye brow raised. "You don't care about her status? Her power? Her money? Her land?" Keigo's eyes widened, as he let go of his shirt. "I find it stupid how you could cheat on her, honestly. She's holds so much, can inherit so much.. and she's not bad to look at either."

"Shut your mouth. She's not yours to talk about." Keigo could feel heat rising to his chest, but he was at a loss for words.

"If you keep on cheating on her, she probably will be."

"I didn't cheat on her dammit!"

"Probably not tonight, but you have before. She already has a rough time trusting you. You probably make her feel so insecure... don't you think she deserves better?"

"Of course she fucking does, but if you think I'll let her marry a guy like you, you're dead wrong."

"A guy like me?" Touya pretended to take offense, placing a hand on his chest.

"Yeah, you only care about yourself."

"Correction, you only care about yourself. I care about your kingdom. Which might as well be mine."

"Shut the hell up." Keigo rolled his eyes. "I care about my kingdom very much."

"Then start acting like it!" Touya yelled in his face, his teeth grinding together. "Stop the stupid war going on in your kingdom! Marry her and use her power to kick them out! Stop damaging your kingdom!"

He couldn't say anything. The air was filled with silence and the tension was incredibly thick. Touya took a deep breath, and let it out. "Now, go back in there and prepare for the announcement." He let out a cough and went to fix his shirt that Keigo had wrinkled by holding it in his fist. Keigo bit the inside of his cheek and nodded, and started to walk back into the palace, leaving Touya behind. He didn't care if he was there for the announcement or not, he was pretty pissed at him at the moment.

He walked back in, his head looking down. He was nervous, but not for the announcement. What if someone had heard his conversation with Touya? There would be no way for him to come back if the real reason why he was with you was to get out. Of course, that's not why he is with you now. He could care less about your status or power or money... but all of that was just convenient for his situation.
