Chapter 24: Fire and Sky

"Oh Y/n!" Momo called for you, as you sat at the dinning table.

"Hm?" You turned your head slightly, still looking down at the paperwork you were filling out.

"Only about a month left until your birthday! Arent you excited?" She asked, all of the party planner books held to her chest.

"I suppose so, yes." You smiled weakly. "But also kind of dreading it."

"Why? Its supposed to be fun!"

"I dont know. Maybe because I'm getting older? Maybe the possibility that I'm signing my life away?"

"Woah woah woah, where is this coming from?"

"Im sorry Momo, I guess I'm just sort of nervous." You admitted. "Its planned that Keigo and I would be announcing our engagement, but..."

"But what?"

"What if we decide to back out?"

"Y/n, you love him and he loves you! You have no reason to worry."

You exhaled and nodded, going back to your work. She sat down in the chair next to you, and spread out all of her party planners and costing sheets, along with her agendas.

"So, like always, tomorrow you are scheduled to go to the tailors to get measured and plan for your dress." She announced. "And that afternoon, Keigo is coming, and will meet you there."

"Alright, that sounds good." You smiled.

"Oh, and Bakugou had offered to go with you."

"Okay, that f-" You stopped, and looked at her worriedly. "He what?"

"He offered to go with you..? Whats the big deal?"

"His parents own the shop..." You muttered to yourself.

"Oh really? Whens the last time he saw them?" Momo asked.

"The day he came to the palace."

"So... About four years?"

You nodded and sighed. "I wonder why he said he would go."

"You know how Bakugou is." Momo chuckled lightly. "He probably wants to show off how well he is living now. And how they were wrong."

"I suppose..." You hummed.

"Its alright, Y/N. Dont worry too much." Momo smiled.

You sighed and nodded, and returned back to your paperwork.

After you turned in your paper work to your parents, you decided to unwind in the garden. You walked to the garden and was about to enter, when you saw Katsuki and Sora sitting on the fountain.

"You think so?" You heard Sora ask, tilting her head.

Katsuki chuckled, and cocked his head up. "Have I ever lied to you?"

"Well, I dont know." She shrugged. "This is the first time youve actually been nice to me."

"You brat! Ive always been nice!"

"...you call that nice?"

"Shut up! I'm giving you good advice here!"

You giggled to yourself, still listening to their conversation.

"Now, when he asks you to dance, what do you say?"

"Sure?"

"No. You would say 'I'd love to'." He sighed.

"That is if he even asks me." She sighed, looking down.

"He will, trust me. Its obvious he likes you."
