It was now the next day, and everyone had decided to sleep in. You were exhausted from the party, and so was Keigo. He was passed out in the bed next to you. You started to wake up slowly, and look over at Keigo. You smiled to yourself and placed a kiss on his cheek before getting up from the bed to get ready.
You heard him groan in his sleep but he still just laid in bed, and you were going to let him get some more sleep. Once you were ready you had left your room, only to be immediately snatched. You felt a hand around your forearm and be dragged down the hallway. "Hey!"
"I'm sorry, Y/n." Kirishima lightened up on his grip and sighed, slowing down his pace. "But we all need to talk to you."
"About what?" He stayed silent, and kept looking around.. as if he was checking to see if someone would hear. "Hello? Eijiro?"
"We have to be quiet." Kirishima whispered. "We tried to tell you yesterday but Touya interrupted."
"I highly doubt he would be listen." You laughed it off. "Now tell me!"
"Shh!" Kirishima looked back at you, and placed a finger of his lips. "We need to be quiet."
"Eijiro, I doubt anyone is listening right now. In fact, I bet we are the only two up right now."
"Incorrect." He chuckled a bit. "Bakugou, Momo, Jirou and Sora are awake."
"As per usual." You laughed with him a bit.
"Either way, there is something important we need to talk to you about."
"About?"
"Just wait."
Soon enough, the two of you were in the room with everyone else, except for Sora. For one, this was too big of an issue for her to understand, and two, you decided to get her a private tutor so she could get the opportunity to learn.
"Now, what's going on?" You said as you walked in, Kirishima closing the door behind you and locking it so that there would be no interruptions.
"Tell us Y/n, why are you supposed to marry Keigo?" Momo jumped right into the conversation.
"Well, social reasons I suppose. I was getting to the age of where I needed to marry."
"Not because of political reasons?" Jirou raised an eyebrow.
"Not that I was told.. why? Were you guys told something?" You asked, tilting your head to the side. You were very confused at what they were getting at. Or, what they were trying to impose.
"No no, we weren't told anything... Just, something I heard is all.." Momo sighed a bit, her voice very shaky. She started to play with her hands and felt them getting sweaty and wiped them on her dress. "I may have over heard Touya and Keigo talking in the garden when I went to go find you last night."
"Oh really? Well, what were they saying?"
"Not great things..."
"Was... Keigo rethinking the marriage?"
"No, nothing like that!" Momo reassured you, but only made Bakugou scoff.
"Dammit, get on with it already or I'm gonna tell her!" Bakugou yelled. Momo glared at him before taking a deep breath.
"Y/n, we feel that you shouldn't marry Keigo. I overheard the two talking about how that are only using you for power, land, status and wealth. Touya wants to make sure they get what they want."
You stayed silent, thinking about the words that had just left her mouth. You couldn't believe them. "Are you sure that's what you heard, Momo?"
"I'm pretty sure... and if Keigo wasn't going to go through with the marriage, Touya would marry you himself."
You exhaled hard and closed your eyes. That's why he had been nice to you and tried to get so close to you.. just in case Keigo screwed up Touya could come in and save it.
"What specifically did they say they would use me for?"
"Something about our army, because they are in a war."
Suddenly it all hit you.
"Dammit!" You yelled out of frustration. "It makes sense now. He only wants me to lend him reinforcements to save his kingdom! He isn't interested in me! This wedding is only political!"
You started to ramble on and pace the room as the four just watched you. They didn't know what to do or say to salvage this situation. And they knew you were probably hurt by it too. Bakugou couldn't even imagine. But at the same time he was happy. If you were mad at Keigo that means you would find comfort in him.
"This is awful!" You breathed heavily, looking down at your hands. You wanted to wash them. You wanted to wash your whole bossy actually. To get Keigo's and Touya's touch off of you.
"I wasn't sure how to tell you, Y/n." Momo said softly. "And you seemed so happy with him I didn't want to ruin that."
"Things like this happen, especially in politics." You sighed. "I just wished he would have told me."
"But Y/n, he's after your land too." Kirishima added. "Not just support from the army. What if he tries to take the land away?"
"I doubt he'd try anything like that. And if he did he'd have to kill me before getting any piece or power over this land."
"I say break up with him." Bakugou said with a smirk. "I've been telling you that for ages now. And seems like a good solution to this problem."
"If it was that easy I would. But we already made the announcement and we can't go back now." Uou explained, rubbing your temples in little circles. "Maybe I should just bring it up to Keigo and ask him about it."
"I don't think that's a good idea." Momo stopped you. "I wasn't supposed to hear it. I'm not sure what he would do if he were to find out you knew about something like this."
"True..."
"Maybe let me scope it out? Me and Bakugou?" Kirishima suggested. "I mean, we don't want Y/n to get hurt, and we could get a lot of information out of him if we tried."
"I like the way you think, Shitty hair." Bakugou smirked. In reality, Bakugou just wanted to prove you wrong.
"I'm going to regret this... but alright, I'll let you boys handle this. Find out as much as you can."
