Chapter 5: You're It

YOUR P.O.V

"We're here!" Yelled the coachman. And then, heard the excited screams of the children.

I went to reach for the handle to the door, but Keigo stopped me. I looked over at him confused, as he exited the carriage. "Keigo?" I asked, very confused.

He want around the carriage, and opened the door for me. "What? Has no one opened the door for you?" He asked, with an eye-brow raised. He extended his hand to me, and I took it without even thinking. He helped me out of the carriage, and closed the door behind me. I looked up at him, and he smiled brightly. The carriage then rode off, to reveal the many, and excited, children of the village.

"Princess Y/N!" Yelled most of them, as they came running up to me and hugged my legs.

"Hi everyone!" I greeted them.

"So glad you're back!" A little boy said. All I did was giggle.

"I guess they like you." Keigo laughed, and all the kids' attention turned to him.

"Who is that, Princess Y/N?" A little girl asked.

"Is that your boyfriend?" Another girl questioned. My face turned as red as Keigo's wings.

"I like her." Keigo whispered to me, as he knelt down to the little girl's height. "What's your name?"

"What's your name?" She asked back.

"I'm Prince Keigo Takami."

"So you guys are dating!" She cheered, as she started to run in circles. Keigo rose back up, chuckling to himself.

"Y/N and Keigo sitting in a tree!" A little boy mocked.

"K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Sang even more children. I hid my face in embarrassment.

"Where's Sora?" I asked, trying to change the topic.

"Right here!" Sora came running from the busiest part if the village.

"Sora!"

The other kids made way, as Sora run to me. I kneeled down to her height, and she gave me the biggest hug ever. "I missed you!" She said.

"I missed you!" I said back, petting her long, dark brown hair.

"So you're Sora?" Keigo asked, also kneeling down. Sora pulled away from the hug, and looked at him, seeming somewhat frightened. "Y/N told me about you."

"W-Who..." Sora stuttered.

"This is Prince Keigo." I introduced him.

"Its nice to meet you." He smiled, sticking his hand out to her. She shook his hand, but quickly turned her attention back to me.

"How is your mom doing?" I asked.

"A lot better." She replied. "The doctor said she's responding well to the medicine."

"That's so great to hear!" I exclaimed. "How many more doses does she need?"

"The doctor predicts two." She said, holding up two fingers.

"Do you have enough money for those?" I asked, side glancing at Keigo.

"Mhm!" She hummed. "I've been buying cheap food to make sure I had enough."

"That's very good managing. I'm proud of you."

She smiled brightly, and I stood up. Keigo stood up as well, standing close to me.

"Princess Y/N? Where's the others?" One of the kids asked.

"I'm sorry, it's only me and Keigo today." I smiled. "They will come with me next time, though."
