Once Upon a Time {Keigo x Reader}

29: Be Honest

(Maaajor time skip, y'all. Like, at least 1-2 weeks.)

You woke up next to a snoring bird man. Not the best way to wake up, but an interesting one either way. You took a deep breath and rolled over, poking his cheek. "Keigo." He hummed in response, swatting your hand away. "Keigo. Wake up."

"I'm up..." He yawned, his eyes slowly opening. "Good morning beautiful~"

"Dont even start." You laughed, swinging your legs over the bed and getting up. "Its way to early for that. And besides. We dont have time for that."

"I dont know, I think we have a few minutes."

"No, we dont. Lets not forget, Dabi, Tokoyami and Todoroki are coming today."

"Oh yeah." Keigo huffed.

"And so is my brother and his fiancée, and-"

"Wait you have a brother?"

"Yes! Ive said it a million times before!" You rolled your eyes.

"Oh yeah. Wait, isnt he like, fifteen? And he already has a fiancée?"

"Well, its unofficial, but they might as well be engaged."

"Aw, just like us." Keigo smiled, and got up from the bed and kissed your cheek.

"What do you mean, just like us? We are engaged." You rolled your eyes.

"We havent announced it yet, though." He chuckled, wrapping his arms around you.

"But some people already know, Keigo." You shook your head, and walked away to your closet, picking out a F/C dress to wear for the day. You then started to walk to your bathroom once you picked out your clothes.

"What? You can't change in front of me, baby bird?" Keigo pouted. You rolled your eyes.

"Id rather not, because we both knkw how its going to turn out." You laughed a bit, before shutting the bathroom door and changing.

While you were changing, Keigo decided to do the same. The moment you got out of the bathroom, he was straightening his shirt. "You look beautiful." He smiled.

"You do too." You said, but immediately got flustered. "I-I mean, you look good."

"Aw, thanks my love." Keigo walked over to you, and kissed the side of your head. Then he kissed your cheek, and started to kiss your jawline.

"Keigo, seriously? Come on, we have to go downstairs." You laughed, giving him a shove.

"Fine." He whined, walking over to the door and opening it. You giggled and followed him, and quickly grabbed his hand. You couldnt see it, but you knew he was smiling as you both walked down the hallway to the main staircase.

Once you both got down the stairs, your mother and father were waiting, along with Momo, Kyoka, Eijiro and Katsuki. Katsuki didnt look happy upon the sight of you two, but that was to be expected.

"Good morning you two." Your mom greeted, and bowed her head. Momo followed her lead, and so did Kyoka and Eijiro, but Katsuki didnt bother. You never minded if Katsuki did or not, but Keigo stared him down.

"Youre not going to bow to the princess?" Keigo gritting his teeth, and cocked his head up. Katsuki stared daggers into him, clicked his tongue, and then bowed his head. You heard Keigo let out a low chuckle, as he grabbed your hand and walked over to your mother.

"Your brother should be here soon with his fiancée, Y/n." Your mom said, smiling brightly. "And then Touya, Shoto, and Tokoyami will be arriving soon after that."

You looked over and saw Keigo smile. He had spent a couple weeks without being in the presence of his friends, and you knew that he missed them, especially Touya. Despite how much he would have liked to deny it. Even you missed them a bit. You got along with all of them pretty well.

"Youre smiling~" you teased, poking his cheek. He simply rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"Nope. You didnt see anything."

Soon after you all headed to the front gates of the palace, and waited for your brother and his fiancee's arrival. It was a nice day, not a cloud in the sky but it was pretty hot... And you could feel yourself getting a bit over heated.

You tried taking a deep breath, bit the air felt very thick, and filled with moisture. It was very humid... You didnt like this kind of weather.

"Tch." You heard Katsuki's tongue click. You looked over to him and tilted your head.

"What's wrong, Kats?" You asked, but Keigo placed and hand on your shoulder.

"Dont worry about him. Hes just miserable as always." Keigo rolled his eyes, trailing his hand down your arm and holding your hand gently. Katsuki saw all of that, and it only made him even more miserable.

"Dumb bird." He would scoff quietly, and turn his face away, hiding the littlest blush on his face.

You started to feel guilty right then. Granted, you had no control over Keigo's actions, and he was very into PDA, but you hated the fact that Katsuki had to witness all of it.

Keigo would take your hand, and lift it up to his lips, kissing the top of it softly. You blush a bit, and pulled your hand away. He looked at You, his face filled with confusion, and somewhat sadness.

"Not here... Not right now." You would say, laying your hands in front of you, your left over your right.

You heard Katsuki chuckle. It was low, but you heard it. But Keigo couldnt.

"Why not? Did I do something wrong?" He asked, placing two fingers under your chin and turning your face So you could look at him.

"No, nothings wrong, just... Not in front of everyone, okay?" You whispered quietly. Keigo furrowed his brows, confused on why you were acting like this all of a sudden.

He then looked to Katsuki.

Katsuki's face had a wide smirk plastered on it, and his head was lifted up. He glared at Keigo, and then looked away from him, and down to me.

You could hear Keigo growl a bit, hating the way Katsuki looked.

"Y/n, be honest with me." Keigo cupped your cheek and made you look at him. "Is there there something going on between you and Bakugou?"

"What..? How many times-"

"Princess Y/n, I see your brother's carriage." Momo interrupted you, and you were glad.

You snapped your head, and saw a white carriage approaching the palace grounds. You smiled brightly, watching them finally stop in front of the gates.

Once the guards opened the gates you immediately ran through them and stopped right at the carriage.

The coachman opened the door, and your brother stepped out first... He had gotten so big since the last time you saw him.

You smiled, just staring at him. He was a little bit taller than you, and he was only fifteen.

"Wow, you're really short." He laughed. You hit his chest, and hugged him tight. He hugged you back, laughing a bit.

"I missed you."
