---Luz's Pov---

"Damn, he got away," He says in frustration.

We were all surprised, the man she had told us about, the man that was like a God to them just burst down from a window and almost killed Salazar hadn't been for me doing what I did. I will say that it was a big surprise that he could still move even when I order him to stop. I knew Salazar would escape but he wasn't even faced by my command. I looked at him and inspected him, he was probably 6'6 tall (198 cm), his hair was dark brown, his eyes were bright red, his skin like a Hispanic person, I could say his skin was a little lighter than chocolate. He had a slight American Southern Accent.

"Teacher, what are you doing here?"

"I went to the castle to see if your father had taken my warning, you can guess my surprise when I heard that your brother was the new king... Really Salazar? Using a contract? You are released from your contract"

He waved his hand and a paper appeared in front of them and was torn apart, I saw everyone was surprised by this as to why they were surprised, I don't know.

"Now, I release you from your bonds"

I witnessed as all the vampires got their freedom to move again, this surprised me more, I was the one that issued the command, and for what has been told to me only I could release them, but he just released them like it was nothing. He turns around and walks up to Scarlett.

"I'm glad to know that my apprentice is fine"

"I escaped using the maps you gave my grandfather, also why you never told me why you could train me?"

"I did, though"

"No you didn't, you just said that my body..."

"Couldn't handle the burden of using magic, yeah, I thought it was clear that your body wasn't strong enough to withhold the raw power of magic"

"Oh, I guess I didn't understand correctly"

He turned around to see, he inspected me and I don't know why but I feel like he could see right through me.

"Could you please stop staring I feel like you are seeing me naked"

"Is that why she is of higher status than me?" Scarlett asked.

"Maybe, are your grandparents human?"

"Yes, they both are... but now I think about it, my grandmother of my mom's side looks rather young despite been 86 years old and her brother is also looking young despite the fact that he is 10 years older than her"

"I see, your great grandparents are they human?"

"I have never met my great grandfather"

"Then maybe he is the vampire since your vampiric blood is somewhat diluted... he must be quite the old vampire, maybe as old as me"

"As old as you? Or rather how about introducing yourself before asking all these questions?"

"Right, sorry. The name I go by right now is Vladimir Noceda, I'm one of the oldest vampires"

"Well, I'm Luz Noceda"

"Well, well, well, I meet someone with these extremely rare last name"
