Chapter 26

Em and Ed kneel down as they were teleported onto the roof of their target and it didn't take a long time before they found their mother. Without a moment of hesitation, they activate the magic in uniform and make them invisible and anything they are grabbing. Em takes her scroll, makes sure that her scroll is on, do not disturb, and starts to record. Ed takes out one of the gadgets to allow audio to be recorded even if they are all the way in the roof.

"Seriously, those vampires couldn't have chosen a worse time to attack," Odalia says.

"Yes, indeed," Faust says.

"How is the chamber with the ritual?"

"Everything is in place to make the soul unification ritual"

"Good, after we bring Amity and Boscha here, we will be able to take their bodies and get rid of them once and for all"

"Good,  you have no idea how much I have been wanting to kill my daughter"

"I understand Faust but if I allow you to kill her, the bridge between both the Blight and Treiochi wouldn't be possible"

"I know, to have all that power and influence, our plan to dethrone Belos is closer to becoming a reality"

Odalia walks up to Faust. "Good, Faust I have I tell you, you look so hot when you laugh diabolically"

Faust brings Odalia closer and starts to make out. Ed and Em got the evidence they needed but their mission just got more important, Ed got out his scroll and handed it to Em to allow her to keep recording the affair. Em grabs Ed's scroll and hands her's, Ed moves and grabs the magical device to make a clone and throws it. Once the container breaks a clone of Ed appears, the real one hands the scroll to the clone and sends him to his father. 

The clone appears in the room and hands the scroll to Alador before disappearing, Alador knows something else is going on and sees the recording. After watching the recording, Alador is disgusted but this is no time to get angry, he needs to get to Emperor Belos, but before he leaves, he calls Ulysses Porter.

"Al!! How have you been?"

"I'm great, listen I need you to get to the palace"

"What? Why?"

"A ghost of war has come"

".... I see I will be there"

Alador quickly goes downstairs and sees Lilith walking there.

"Hey Al, what the rush?"

"Actually, Lily you need to come with me to the palace"

"What? Why?"

"You will need to see this, come on"

Lilith doesn't know what is going on but she knows something bad has happened and Alador is making her come. She follows behind Alador and before departing she orders the coven members to be on high alert, nothing gets in or out. They all salute and start to mobilize to ensure nothing sneaks past them. Lilith gets on the carriage with Alador.

"Okay, Al what is this about?"

"This" Alador says as he hands the scroll with the video.

Lilith grabs the scroll and listens to Odalia and Faust talk about the unification ritual. She is shocked and looks up to Alador to confirm that this is real.

"It is, it was taken by Emira"

"Are they where she is!?"

"Yes, unfortunately, I didn't know that Odalia and Faust were trying to do this"
