Chapter 11

As soon as Willow stopped having a panic attack and destroyed anything nearby, they went inside the owl house in order to get things sorted out.

"Okay girls, I want you to tell me what you remember of the attack," Lilith said sitting right next to them.

"Well, as I was walking down the path and as I was halfway there, a big black shadow thing came out of nowhere. For what I saw, the shadow gave the vampire enough darkness to act."

"A shadow?" Lilith asked.

"Oh, you mean something like this thing" Luz said while creating the shadow blade.

"What!? What is that Luz?" Amity asks.

"I don't know, but whatever I think about it, it just appears"

"That is the vampire's unique ability, they are able to control any shadow at will" Eda explained.

"Well, after the shadow envelopes me a vampire jumps towards me. When I felt the vampire grab and drag me away from the path, I cast a light orb in order to get it to let go of me. Once I was out of his grasp I started to run towards the path but another vampire appeared, so I had no choice but to run deeper within the forest. As I ran I cast plant movement in order to get the vampires to be blocked but just like Luz they simply destroy the plant before they could really be used as a blockage"

"I guess that when I saw you running within the forest," Boscha said.

"I guess because as soon as they saw something fly over the forest, they hurried and they stopped playing with me and actually captured me"

"After that, we know exactly what happened," Amity said.

"Well, we now have 2 new vampires. Edalyn I will like to talk in private in the kitchen. Gus makes an illusion of all of us, in case the vampire still feels cocky" Lilith said while walking towards the kitchen.

---With Eda and Lilith---

Lilith and Eda entered the kitchen and waited for Gus to cast his magic. As soon as they saw another one of themselves, the conversation could start.

"Edalyn cast a barrier to suppress sound"

Eda cast the barrier and even though she hates to take orders, especially from her sister, she knew that this was necessary. With not just one but three vampires, talking in secret was going to be difficult without the usage of a barrier.

"Okay, sis, what is on your mind?"

"That the problem Edalyn, I don't have anything"

"What? What are you talking about?"

"Edalyn, by now you know about the other newborn vampires, right?"

"Yes you told me about it, there were 5 before Luz and company"

"Well, that a lie, there have been 10 cases of newborn including Luz and company now it is 13"

"What!? That many!?"

"Yes, but that not the problem, the problem is what happens to the vampire that made that vampire"

"By the way you are speaking, I will assume they didn't exactly stop fighting even after been capture"

"No Edalyn, they committed suicide before they could be interrogated"

"... Even during the war, such a thing never happen"

"And that the problem, we have no idea as to why the vampires are doing this"

There was a long silence, Eda wanted to say something snarky and sassy but this, this is something critical. If the Emperor's coven was having problems figuring out why the vampires are doing this, then it could mean trouble, one that could kill many.
