Chapter 18

With everyone wanting to either sleep or be in privacy, they all decided to end for the night. Eda went to her nest to rest and Lilith was going to go and sleep with her but Scarlett stopped her. Lilith could see that Scarlett was scared of being alone, Lilith decided to stay with Scarlett for the night.

"Can-can you stay with me?" Scarlett said in fear.

"Sure, I don't mind"

Both of them laid down, Scarlett being in the arms of Lilith. Lilith by no means was bothered by this, Scarlett was a beautiful woman and one was lucky to even be around. Now that Scarlett was up close, she reminded Lilith of her first love, Aurora Treiochi, Boscha's mother. Back when Lilith was in school she fell in love with her simply because she was one of a kind, she was kind, supportive, polite, selfless, so much more. Aurora was straight unlike Lilith so, when Lilith confesses her love to her, Aurora rejected Lilith in the most polite and kindest possible way one can get rejected. Lilith back then knew that Aurora was straight but she wanted to protect her from her fiance, now husband, Faust Treiochi. Faust is a cold, egoistic, selfish, brute, psychopath, and many more things to be even listed. Lilith hoped back then to go out with Aurora in order to reveal the real Faust and not the one with the mask.

"Ow"

Lilith came back to reality when she noticed she was hurting Scarlett thinking about Faust.

"Sorry"

"It's okay, it looked like you were thinking about something, I can only guess that made you angry"

"Yeah, I... I was reliving old memories"

Scarlett hugs Lilith and brings her head to her chest. "Then don't think about them, it not healthy"

I could see that Scarlett is a well-endowed woman but it really is different when you have them in your face. Lilith thought while tapping Scarlett to let her breathe.

"Oh! Sorry, I am not used to having someone that actually needs to breathe... are you okay?"

"That fine... Scarlett do you mind telling me about your partner, how was she?"

"She... she was a wonderful partner, she was loving and caring and would be willing to tear someone in order to protect me... I remember her fighting vampire after vampire to protect me when my brother revolt happened"

"I'm sorry for make you remember painful memories"

"That's fine, I know that she is still here watching over me and I know she wouldn't want for me to stay still. She would have wanted for me to stop my brother at all cost"

"I see... she was a lucky woman by having you as a partner"

Scarlett blushes at the comment, even if she isn't saying it, she felt strangely attracted to Lilith. It was like her lover who just recently perished came back and was reborn into Lilith. Scarlett couldn't explain the feeling she felt towards Lilith but she knew that she wanted her to be close.

"What about you Lilith? Have you had a partner before?"

"Me? No... when I was a kid been gay was a big no-no, it only recently that such mentality change"

"Gay? What does gay mean?"

"You can't be serious," Lilith said while looking at Scarlett, who was dead serious. "Wait, you are been serious, you seriously don't know what gay means?"

"Yeah, I don't. Out of all the books, I have read, none have such a word"

"Well, in simple terms been gay means that you like the same sex, meaning I like women better than men"
