Chapter 9

The next morning came and Luz had just put Eda in her nest, she fell asleep at 4 in the morning and Luz wasn't expecting her to wake up anytime soon. Luz without anything to do, tried to do something but the house wasn't boarded up and sunlight could enter, so she goes to her room to ensure she isn't burned alive by the sun and laid down in her room and let her mind wander away.

Amity was late for class for the first time ever, and the reason for being late was sleeping in. If it wasn't for Emperor's coven coming for Lilith, Amity would have missed school entirely. She soon reaches the school and goes directly to her class, she doesn't worry about the book, since she already knows what they are talking about Lilith had taught her the subjects that they were studying. Soon enough she saw the door to her abomination class, she stopped to catch her breath, and before knocking on the door. After catching her breath she knocks on the door and waits for her teacher to come to open the door and hear her excuse, as for why she was late.

"Ah, Amity I was waiting for you"

"You were? Shouldn't I be in trouble for being late?"

"Miss Clawthorne told me that you were with her until late last night and that is the reason why you are late"

"Oh, okay," Amity said while walking into the classroom.

"Also, you have proficiency at abomination magic, so even if you miss a class I know it would have affected you"

"I still need to write notes for Luz"

"Ah, I see, well miss Blight, please take a seat," said the abomination teacher, while pointing to her seat.

Amity quickly went to her seat and started to write down notes for Luz, even though Luz will not read them and just ask her directly for help. It's not that she hates it, she in fact looks forward to those moments since it is just another excuse for her to spend more time with Luz. With Luz in mind, she starts to draw Luz, how she would look like with the traditional vampire attire, even though this shouldn't be thought-about since vampires are witches' enemies and should be eliminated. Amity thinks about how they were positioned the night Luz almost bit her, realizing how it looked she started to blush. Amity was in her own world forgetting her surroundings but was brought back by Willow, who pointed at her drawing. Amity quickly realized what she had done and what she should do. She ripped the page off, folded the paper with the drawing, and put it in her pocket.

By degree of Emperor Belos, all vampire topics and subjects are prohibited and if anyone is found talking or doing something that depicts a vampire, she or he will be taken to the Emperor's Coven and interrogated. And all vampires found are to be captured, experimented on, and then killed but with what Lilith mentioning, Luz being able to have control over her body and not letting her instinct have control, she wouldn't be killed but rather she would be captured and probably detained for an unknown amount of time and location. Amity hated that idea, the idea of Luz being taken somewhere where she can't reach. She thanks Willow for bringing her back to reality and then processed to write lecture notes for Luz.

Soon enough school was over and Amity was about to head home when she remembered her deal, she then waited in front of the school for Willow to talk to her. After almost everyone left, she still didn't see Willow, Amity thought that maybe she already left and was one her way to Luz's house but as she was about to leave she hears a loud bang, coming from inside the school. Amity knew what that was and what was happening, Boscha was bullying someone. As Amity was approaching she heard Boscha's voice.

"Fuck, how could I fuck that up? Great work Boscha, the moment you see your crush, instead of greeting her, you start to bully her" Boscha said as she bangs her head against the lockers.
