Chapter 12

---With Luz and Amity---

Luz carried Amity in princess style to her room, didn't even enter the battlefield and Amity's brain was already short-circuiting. Luz was ready, if she got rejected she knew Eda would be there to make her feel better but if the opposite happened she would be the luckiest girl in the world. Soon Luz reached her room, she saw that the carpet was still tape to the window, Luz went to remove the carpet in order for the room to have at least some light. Amity was nervous because Luz's way of carrying her destroyed all the confidence she once had.

"Okay, so..."

"Amity before we begin I will like to apologize for almost drink your blood"

"That fine Luz..."

"It is not fine!! I could have hurt or worse... if that would have happened I would have never forgiven myself"

"But it didn't happen and that what is in important and for what I can see your control over your new instinct is better than ever"

"Yeah, it seems that when I don't eat, I lose complete control and when I eat too much I also lose control"

Come on Amity you can do it, Tell Luz that you love her, that you want her to be your girlfriend. Titan, now that I get to see Luz body up close... The transformation really enhanced her body. Taller, muscular, long hair, and those eyes. I know I was afraid of them before but looking at them up close they look so beautiful.

"Amity, I will be honest with you... when I almost bite you... I was afraid that you would come to hate me or detest me"

"I would never do that, you know that... I know we didn't exactly start been friends but thanks to you, I have learned a lot of things about my surrounding and myself"

Luz started to think about the abomination class incident when she first tried to help Willow, she remembered how Amity used to be like an egoistic, narcissistic girl. But Amity change, it was slowly but change happens non the less. Luz remembers when she first felt something for Amity, it was during her reading to kids and after discovering that there was someone else that loved Azura books. After that, her love for Amity grew slowly with each adventure they had, somewhere deep down Luz wanted to bite Amity in order to have Amity for her for the rest of life but she knows she shouldn't.

"Amity, you know I'm not the best with words or with planning so I'm just going to say what is in my heart. Amity you are the most amazing girl I have ever met. Whenever you are close to me I feel safe and warm and when you leave me I feel empty and it only until I see you that I feel complete. Even when I'm down hearing your voice is enough to make me happy, I don't want you to be far away from me, I want you close to me. Amity I love you"

Amity started to cry, Luz noticed this and got close to see what was wrong. It was then that Amity wrapped her arms around Luz's neck and kissed her. "I love you too, Luz. Thanks to you I have become someone better than what I should have been"

Luz was so happy, she was expecting Amity to reject her but she embraced and returned her feeling equally. Amity plans to confess to Luz when out the window, she should have known that Luz would have destroyed every plan she had. She was so happy, she was afraid that Luz might reject her not because of her feeling but because of what she is now, She knew Luz would have said that in order to protect her, she would have to not get close to me but whatever happens between yesterday incident and today's confession made her not to be afraid. Luz sat down in which Amity sat on top of Luz and started to make out and the only way they are going to stop is if someone will come for them.

---With Gus---

As Gus was exploring the owl house, he went to the second floor, he was excited to explore the owl house but he will have to be careful since he saw Luz and Amity go inside a room. As he walks exploring each room, he comes across Eda's nest. Eda's nest has a long window, Gus wants to see outside and try to spot anything that might be lurking around the house. He casts a spell of invisibility in order not to get spotted, he slowly walks towards the window and peaks from the corner, at first everything seems to be peaceful but soon he thinks he sees something hiding in the bushes. He tries to look closer just to see an injured person on the floor. Gus doesn't know if it's an illusion and something is hiding just outside view, in order not to get spotted he slowly walks out of Eda's room and heads downstairs.

Gus passes the room Luz and Amity were in, he sees them making out. He quickly leaves and heads downstairs but just like the room, Willow and Boscha were making out. Gus puts his hand next to his eyes to ignore them, he reaches the kitchen and tries to get the attention of Eda and Lilith.

Eda notices Gus trying to call out to them. "What's wrong, kid?"

"Woah!!" Lilith sees Willow and Boscha making out.

Eda sees them."Really? You call us for this?"

"What? No, I saw someone laying on the floor outside"

"What!? Where?"

"Follow me, I would call the others but they are... ahem busy"

Eda and Lilith could only guess that Amity and Luz were making out upstairs. They follow Gus to the person in question, Eda and Lilith were ready to cast at any moment. They reach the person on the floor and Gus confirms that it wasn't an illusion and that it was a female, he reaches to shake her when he touches her he feels a warm liquid. Gus couldn't see that well but could only guess that the person was injured and bleeding out.

"She is bleeding pretty bad"

"Damn, Eda grab her, let's take her inside where we can patch her injuries"

Eda processes to grab her, Gus cast invisibility for Eda and the person. They quickly return to the owl house. Eda goes to her cabinets to find ingredients to make a potion to heal the person, Lilith carries the person towards the sofa but sees the lovebirds still making out. Lilith points to Gus to get them out of their bubble and return to reality. Gus shakes Boscha, she is mad that she is interrupted and it is about to punch him when she smells the blood. Boscha gets up from the sofa carrying Willow. Lilith puts down the person and casts some healing magic on her.

"Willow go get Amity, she is in Luz's room"

"Can't Gus go?"

"I will go, I know where her room is," Gus said going upstairs.

"Boscha, go and help my sister brew medicine. Willow cast some plant magic to reduce her pain" Lilith ordered.

Boscha heads to the kitchen to help Eda and Willow grow a plant that should make the woman's pain tolerable. Gus reaches Luz's room and barges in.

"Luz, Amity we need you downstairs ASAP"

While annoyed they were interrupted they got up and headed downstairs to see a person bleeding. Lilith sees Amity.

"Amity, I'm sorry to interrupt your moment but I need you to help me heal her. Luz go and grab some clothes, we will need to remove her's"

Amity goes towards her mentor to take her place to cast healing magic, Lilith sees that almost all her clothes were covered in blood. Lilith processed to remove them all, Gus, while closing his eyes grabs the bloody clothes and puts them in a bucket. Luz returns with clean clothes and puts them next to Lilith. After all the clothes are removed Lilith grabs the leaves of the plant Willow grows and bandages the person while leaving the leaves in the wound. Lilith checks the woman's body to see any other injury, that's when she notices blood coming from her mouth, she opens her mouth to see fangs. She is a vampire.
