Chapter 3

It was now past midnight and Luz was moving a lot on the sofa, it looked like she was having a bad dream. Eda is making food for Luz when she wakes up. As it is she didn't find anything strange with Luz other than she wasn't hurt during the rain, but she did find her beneath a tree, it might just be her mind going to all bad kinds of scenarios.

"Edalyn!!"

"Yes!? What is it, Lilith? Wait, are we still in the call I made like 30 minutes ago?"

"Yes, we are Edalyn, you were so in your mind you have been ignoring me calling you all this time"

"Sorry, sis but I'm worried about Luz and my mind is going to all kind of scenarios... and not exactly pretty ones"

"What exactly happened to her?"

"I don't know"

"How can you be cooking then!? Go and investigate Luz body check for any puncture in her neck and then try to find any other wound in her body"

Eda flinch at Lilith screaming, but she was right, she has been so worried and thinking about all kinds of scenarios that she doesn't want to find out. As Eda was going to do what her sister told her, she stopped and wondered why she was worried about Luz and why she was asking to search for a puncture wound?

"Lilith, why are you so worried about Luz? And why are you asking me to search for a puncture wound on her neck?"

"Ah, no... no reason in particular," Lilith said looking away

"Lilith, we might have been separated for years now, but I still can tell when you are lying. What do you know about what happened to Luz? And don't try to lie or hide it" Eda said with an angry tone of voice.

"Okay, fine I will tell you"

-----Cut to the living room with Luz-----

Luz open her eyes and started to look around, as she was about to sit she felt an incredible pain in her stomach, it felt like she has been starving for years, her eyes were now getting bothered by the light in the living room, it felt like she was in a white room with the sun directly bright it up. Luz flipped over and put her face in the pillows of the sofa, at the same time she grabbed her stomach.

After a few minutes of agonizing pain her mouth started to hurt, it felt like her teeth were going to fall out at any moment. Luz then started to hear a voice in her head, telling her to eat, to let her hunt and devour anything in the vicinity. Luz heard something loud coming in front of her, she stood up and looked directly into Eda's eyes.

"For the past month, we had reports of vampires"

"What!? Why did you try to hide this information, if Luz has been bitten by one, she could have turned any minute now" Eda yell with anger

"Relax, we know by experience and records that it takes 4 hours for a person to transform"

"Lilith, Luz left the library..." Eda turns around to see the clock " 4 hours ago..." Eda yells as she turns around, just to see Luz having stood up with blood-red eyes, staring at her directly.

Eda grabbed King and ran outside, Luz spring it for them, chasing after them with a hungry look in her eyes. Eda went around the house and entered the front door and ran upstairs, Luz was hot in their heels and ready to pounce on them.

"Eda, what has happened to Luz!?" King yell

"She was bitten by a vampire and transformed into one!!"

"What is she trying to do Eda!?" King was shaking in fear

"Newly born or transform vampire are incredibly hungry, so try to guess how we look for her"

Eda entered her room and shut it, hitting Luz right in her face, Eda wanted to stop and hide but she couldn't, she had to help Luz. She went toward her closet and pulled bottles of blood, she then proceeded to dump it into a bowl. After having put out the blood she took King and hid in the closet. Just in time as Luz burst down the door, Luz looks around with no sight of her prey, but she smelled the blood. Her eyes swept the room and saw the blood Luz ran towards it and started to drink it. As she was drinking the blood, her new feral instinct started to cool down. She finishes the blood and return to her sense and start to look around, only to see her clothes drenched in blood.

"What!? What happened!? Why am I drenched in blood!? Is this my blood!? Is this someone else blood!?" Luz was scared

Eda came out of hiding and let King go. King ran towards Luz and gave her a big hug. Luz felt King hug, and turned around to see King hugging her, Luz picked him and started to hug him, she looked up and saw Eda walking towards her. Eda kneels next to her and hugs her.
