Eleanor woke up the next day with a throbbing headache, she reached her hand to her forehead feeling a large angry bump that had now appeared. It must have slipped her mind as she doesn't understand where she got it, in fact she couldn't remember how or when she left the Hufflepuff common room.
She groaned in pain as she threw the covers off her legs and stumbling past the empty beds next to her. She must have slept in again, looking at the clock on Pansys bedside table she realised the time was 12:47 and she'd missed all her morning lessons.
"Those bitches" she grumbled slamming the bathroom door shut causing her to wince from the noise.
She emerged from the bathroom half an hour later after pulling her hair into quick messy bun and doing her best to cover the paleness of her face. Her weak attempt at a glamour charm hadn't been successful in covering the lump protruding from her head. She pulled her robes hood over her head, keeping her head down low as she headed out the door towards the common room. It was empty, along with most of the corridors in the dungeons. It wasn't until Eleanor reached the courtyard she found the Slytherins sat underneath the oak tree.
"Ah there she is!" Adrian shouted as she walked toward the group, dropping on the grass next to Pansy.
"What the fuck happened to you?" Pansy said grabbing Eleanors forehead poking at the lump.
"Fucking owww... Pansy you prat!" Eleanor screamed slapping her hand away, she reached up to the lump to try soothe the pain.
"You missed Divination and Charms but its okay, I wrote up some notes for you." Daphne said pulling them from her bag and leaning over to hand them to Eleanor.
"Yeah, yeah Daphne. So what happened to you?" Blaise nosily asks pushing her out the way. Of course he'd be more interested in the gossip.
"I was with Cedric and his friends in the Hufflepuff common room after that I can't remember." She truthfully said shrugging.
"So you remember nothing?"Adrian intrigued, as she shook her head.
She looked round the group as many of them sent small smirks her way, probably coming up with their own ending of the story. Although two boys in particular stayed rather silent, slyly giving each other an eye roll. Eleanor watched them as they turned to face her eyebrows slightly raised, she studied their faces trying to figure out what they were getting at. What were they-
Oh god.
The colour drained from her face as her eyes went wide, she covered her mouth which had fallen wide open, she threw up on Dracos shoes last night in the common room. She threw up on Draco Malfoy.
"Shit"
"Huh? Never mind. I'm hungry, anyone else hungry?" Blaise babbled, standing up and brushing down his robe.
Almost everyone stood up following Blaise inside until it was just Eleanor and Draco left under the tree. She could feel his eyes on her, waiting on her to crack first and start the conversation. She looked up pulling awkward smile as she fiddled with the edges of her robes.
"About last night" she started, clearing her throat, "I.. how did I end up in my bed?"
"That's what you're asking about first?" Draco casually asked leaning back on his elbows, kicking a leg over the other. "If you must know Theo carried you back, I was too busy cleaning myself off."
Eleanor cringed tugging on a piece of grass between her fingers, "I'm sorry about that."
The corner of Dracos mouth twitched into a small frown, "It's not exactly what I had planned for my evening."
