"Elle! Get out of bed! We only have nine hours until the ball starts!" Daphne orders slightly shaking her by the shoulders.
"Ten more minutes." Eleanor mumbled in her half asleep state, her face squished between two pillows.
"If you don't get up I'll get Theo!" Pansy shouts across the room as she wraps her wet hair into a towel.
"I'm up! I'm up!" Eleanor declares throwing the covers off her legs. She staggers across the room stopping at the foot of Pansys bed and wraps an arm around the wooden post. "You sound just like my mother."
"I can see why! Now in that shower!"
"Okay, okay I'm going." she moaned opening the bathroom door and closing it behind her.
The warmth of the shower tingled along her body as she washed the shampoo from her hair letting the soap run down her curves. Eleanor reaches her hand out grabbing her wand which rest on the side ledge, she brought it out in front of her casting a anti-hair spell so her legs were now silky smooth. She turned the shower off, grabbing a towel and wrapping it round her body as she used her wand to dry her hair.
She walked to the door resting her hand above the handle, she took a deep breath in and pulled it down. "Let's fucking do this"
Eleanor opens the bathroom door after making final touches to her hair, she brushes her fingers through the ends of her loose curls that rest just under her breasts.
"Woah Elle you look gorgeous!" Daphne widely grinned. She had her long blonde hair pulled into a bohemian bun with a few loose stands hanging down by her natural makeup. Her figure was in a corset skin tight black lace dress than floated out toward her legs with matching black heels.
"I would." Pansy nodded as she tied her heels up. She had left her hair in its natural straight bob and instead focused more on her makeup, doing a dramatic smokey eye and dark lips. Her dress was a emerald silk slip dress that came into a v-shape along her chest.
"Thank you but you guys look amazing! I see my mother did a brilliant job too." She winked at Daphne, before turning one last time to look in their full length mirror. Her gold dress clung tight against her curves until it floated out around her legs. The slit running up her left leg allowed Eleanor to show off her flat gold heels, whereas the embroidered sparkles on her dress shimmered off the light in the room. The gold straps of the dress crisscrossed along her bare back meeting at a small bow at the bottom. Eleanor studied herself in the mirror she felt beautiful, her makeup glowed even though she'd decided to go more neutral shades.
"The boys said they'd meet us at the hall entrance" Pansy said strutting towards the door, she held it open as the other both walked out and up toward the common room.
"Shit!" Eleanor stopped in her tracks looking down at her hands, "I forgot my ring, I'll meet you down there." She said doing a mixture of a run and walk back to the dorms.
She pushed the door open slipping through the small opening and ran toward her bedside table where the ring sat on top of her books. She picked it up and slid it down her finger as it perfectly resized.
Running through the corridors in heels was not a good idea, she'd nearly tripped over the ends her dress multiple times and her body had grown hot against the fabric of the dress. As she turned the corner to the grand staircase , she had to take a second to compose herself she could hear the growing sound of music and chatter from down the steps. She slowly stepped out from behind the wall and picked her dress up as she descended the first step of the staircase, she could hear her heart thumping in her chest.
"Don't trip, don't trip, don't trip" she whispered to herself and she scanned the crowd of students until she found the Slytherins at the bottom left of the stairs.
